PWYF On Deathslinger?
Would it really be worth it since the harpoon breaks chase? (And doesn't count as a offensive action if it breaks.) AND, you could probably get around loops you wouldn't be able to as 110%, (as in shooting your spear for shots.) Just looking for someone elses opinion.

I've tried it. Found that I wasn't getting enough stacks to justify the perk slot either by running PWYF by itself or Nemesis/PWYF

PWYF seems to work best on killers who can break and restart a chase quickly, so people like Myers (cause stalk breaks chase) or Wraith (cloak breaks chase) are usually the best candidates. Trying do break and restart chases to build stacks on a 110% killer seems like it would not be very fun.
You could fix this somewhat by doing Nemesis maybe, but then you're devoting 50% of your perk loadout to movement speed when in reality you're supposed to be using your ranged ability to compensate for that. This now leaves only two perk slots for location information, generator slowdown, and let's be honest, every Deathslinger probably wants STBFL and Monitor and Abuse.

Sadly, I am missing monitor and abuse, so I need a perk to replace it with. (can not afford dlc)

But you could afford the Myers DLC? I'm confused.

PWYF is not that good to get a perk slot, nevertheless sometimes give a nice boost.
M&A is by far the best sinergy with his power and basekit until now.
I cant get why SBFTL would be nice on him. Can you explain, pls?

I 100% think SBFTL is his number 1 perk IF your good at landing shots, when they jump threw a window, m1, shoot instantly ( actually free shots), M1, They sprint burst away, shoot instantly, drop pallet, shoot over haybale to abuse hitbox, free hit. Obviously all this comes down to how good of a shot you are, if your ######### it wont be good, but if you have played FPS for as long as they have existed, then your gonna hit those.

As YEEHAW_Main pointed out, Deathslinger excels at landing a quick hit on a survivor with his standard M1, quickly recovering with STFBL and then shooting to reel in the survivor for a very quick down from healthy state. In a sense it's basically the reverse of what Huntress can do where she lands a hatchet then follows it up with an M1.
This is why many people have taken to calling Deathslinger a worse version of huntress, because huntress gets the same level of recovery from landing a hatches as Deathslinger will from an M1 with STBFL, and she doesn't have to burn a perk slot for it.
This is why many people believe that M&A along with STBFL are his two best perks. M&A allows you to sneak up with only a 16 meter terror radius (as Deathslinger's is only 24 by default) for the quick M1 and STBFL lets you recovery lightning fast and then shoot and finish the chase immediately.

My preference is to amplify a killer’s strength rather than try to cover up their weaknesses.
As people already stated, Slinger is:
GOOD AT: Sneaking up for 1st hit, making loops unsafe with his power
BAD AT: Map pressure, chasing M1 style
Extra movement speed is great, but you should be using your power to end chases instead of catching up for an M1 hit. That’s why Monitor and STBFL are superior perks over PWYF.
The reload speed addons are god tier, always try to use those.
Gen regression perks are almost a must, as you need something to slow the game down due to 110% speed. Try having Pop or Ruin, as well as a tracking perk like Thrilling or Discordance.

Tks for the explanations, guys. :)

It's not terrible, but once you go against good survivors if they know what you're trying to do and you're the obsession they will catch on and just stop struggling while being reeled in, so you either break the chain and hit them or you take over 10 seconds for the chain to break followed by a 5 second stun and then getting a sprint burst....all for the sake of going 5% faster.

Your right, i forgot about that. saw that in a vid somewhere.

PWYF / Nemesis is only good on one-shot killers. It's not worth spending 45~ seconds building up the stacks for a single down. You may as well just bloodlust for that and not waste the perk slots.
