The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

I see Ghostface is still a killer that barely works as intended.

Consider this, unhooking someone and realising that GF didn't go very far at all. You look at him through one doorway, into another, both of you offering up zero concealment as to where you are, how many limbs you have, and what you ate that day. You spend a few seconds considering him, with your camera directly lined up to his whole body - not hidden, not behind anything, no looking around a corner. What happens? You get no sound that you are revealing him, and he goes right on and exposes you. Familiar story for many I am sure.

In my honest opinion, as much as he is not a huge threat and SWFs make playing killer the biggest irritation on this game, they should never have released a killer that does not work with their game mechanics. Le Ghoul Face is one of those killers that is broken from both sides of the fence, especially with dedicated servers making him and Myers a guessing game as to whether stalk will work, whether stalk will bork and let you get EW via a random tree, and whatever else.

You punish people for DC'ing by saying that it is unsporting, the wrong thing to do, unfairly punishing for other players, and yet the devs will release and not properly fix slews of bugs and issues. I am in no way advocating DC'ing, but some of these issues and mistakes have a similar effect of unjustly ruining people's experiences. I find it ironic that for every singular instance of a DC'er there are probabaly far higher numbers of other issues that just made someone want to turn the game off at the conclusion of their match. I am strong believer that you shouldn't call out others on bad behaviour (no pun intended) when your own house is not in order.

Sometimes it is simply a shame that each instance of these errors occurring doesn't put a lock on the next DLC being developed until you fix what continues to plague the game's current mechanics.

Sorry for the rant guys, but this is my only avenue I have to vent some of the short-term frustrations I have with the game. I am now going to drink some milk, pet my dog, and play some Civilisation.

I play Ghostface and I think he's fine. The only thing that needs a bit of tweaking is his reveal duration.

GF is awful and ruins the game. Not even Legion is as unfun as this chump so congrats Behaviour on managing to outdo your previous record for bad game design.

Revealing is fine. You need to see a good portion of his body to reveal. If he’s leaning then you need to be at an angle to reveal. Remember you’re canceling out this killer’s ENTIRE power just by looking at him. If you can’t reveal then you’re camera aim is bad and you need more practice. When I go up against ghostface it’s the easiest thing to do. I basically go against ghost face with no power ever. Even if he gets lucky to stalk me there is at least 2-3 pallets to loop to wait out the time of being marked.

Everyone who plays knows what this game is.

Eveytime you start it up you’re well aware that some bugs might show up but that does not grant a free pass to DC. If you don’t want to deal with the bugs just don’t play or report the bugs and wait until they are fixed. Who knows how long they’ll take to fix. Maybe even months or not fixed at all.

And may I ask, have you ever played Ghostface? Because I've played as him and against him and I can tell you that in my opinion his revealing is a problem. Once he's revealed he's basically an M1 killer that just hits you, without his stealth ability he's weak.

I rarely play against gf but i have no trouble revealing him. He is my 2nd favorite killer at the moment and, unless the survivors are potatoes, they dont have trouble revealing me.

My advice. Treat him like Mikey. Run away from him. Block los and get a teammate to reveal him. If you challenge him to a staring contest he usually wins. So dont challenge him and let soneone else do it.

He’s revealed differently than you think you just gotta put him dead center of your camera I actually think due to dedicated servers gf has the short end of the stick I mean you literally can be revealed from behind walls

You have to see 20% of his character to reveal.

With alot of things in the game it comes down to that said game. As someone said its a guess if GF or Myers's stalk will even work so whoever you were just forget that game. Turn it around to enjoy yourself while also not throwing (if your survivor) but just realize that some games may have the odds against you but you gotta just move on to the next one. I understand about have multiple bad games in a row tho so try have fun. Meme around like a conga line trapper.

Is the reveal problems due to being buggy or just dedicated servers messing his power?

Yeah, it's actually hard to reveal him at this point. It's better to run out when you see him though.
