Doctor perk

Hello DBD team

I just feel that the doctor perk is way too stacked towards the killer and takes away any skill element of the game. There is no advantage to being close to the killer or even far away and trying to stealth your way around the map as he just does the expose shock and everyone is revealed.

Please look at that perk. It needs to be refined. If it has to be kept then the radius has to be reduced.

thanks!

Once again a survivor complaining about a killer who has risen in stats and became good thanks to a buff. There are plenty of counters to a Doc. You just have to be brave and smart enough to utilize them.

So what your saying is because you can't hide on the edge of the map instead of doing generators you think he's over powered?

Is this some kind of April Fools joke....?

Tbh, these posts on April Fools could be anything.

So take everything with a grin of laughter i suppose?

Should have had all the survivors and killers have googly eyes like in Overwatch. Would have been amazing. The shrine joke is just...terrible.

The doctor is way overpowered.. he has it way too easy.... Every game I get against him I have zero enjoyment in playing... It seems that many players who use him do it to annoy everyone....

Many people I play with say the same exact same thing .

Personally I happily accept a matchmaking ban for a few minutes just to get out of a match with him...

Although I don't DC at all normally as it's not fair on others .. but when he angers me (which he does alot) I just have to step away for a few hours...

It's a shame because I'm not a massive gamer of today's consoles but DBD has me addicted... It's just this killer that REALLY gets to me...

Calm him down or give him an update that's reasonable please Devs...

I can play a hole match without getting madness tier 1, but doing gens, totems, rescuing, etc, and no Calm Spirit required.

Just stay out of his TR and time the Static Blast when you get into his TR. In doubt, enter a locker. He is the killer you must be not only stealthy, but stay distant. It fits a lot my gameplay style, wich is stealthy but not immersed.

I disliked Doctor as survivor before, and I dislike him now, only I find him less fun to play against. However, the current changes have made it so that I don't like playing as him anymore. In particular, the chase music turns me away.

To your post: yes, the shock is a powerful ability. I am not going to say you shouldn't suggest changes to him, but the developers have recently decided that they want to make it nearly impossible to avoid chases when against a Doctor and have also made him slightly more powerful in said chases. It's an unfortunate truth, but entering and ending chases through preventing survivors from doing much else is the way everyone sees the game should be. I feel you, and I wish the Static Blast didn't do the effect it did, but it does. One thing I will miss from my time as a survivor playing against pre-rework Doctor was my ability to carefully monitor my madness meter and hide in lockers to accelerate its decay. In situations where I was one of a few survivors alive, this gave me good feelings of agency over my own survival. Now, I just hope the gens are done fast enough to ensure the Doctor doesn't have a chance. There's no more trying to be smart about it from me, and that's what makes me disappointed in these reworks.

I think I might have thought it was at all funny if the perk was Kindred or Unrelenting or something in addition to three other perks.
