How do I find loops?
I always see videos on Youtube saying "How to loop" or "Looping tutorial" or "Learning generic tiles". Can somebody please tell me WHERE the tiles are? Out of my past five outdoor map games I've seen a hill in every one of them, but NO jungle gyms, loops or anything usable. Like is there a way I can maybe draw a map on paper while in a match and use it as a makeshift minimap, and ever time that map is chosen I can find the loops.

The first thing to understand is how map generation works in DBD. Every map is made up of a bunch of 16x16 tiles. Every map has certain tiles that are guaranteed to spawn in the same place every time, which usually make up some kind of main room or building, and there are some tiles (like the shack on outdoor maps) that are a guaranteed spawn, but usually have a couple of possible locations that they could appear. The rest of the tiles are randomly placed, as are things like pallets, which is where the procedural generation comes in. So no, it's impossible to learn a map's exact layout for future use, as it will be randomised to some degree every time.
Loops exist on every map. Larger loops, like jungle gyms, the shack and T/L walls, occupy a single tile, which is what people mean when they talk about "looping generic tiles". As for how you find them, pretty much anything with an open window and/or a pallet can be classified as a loop, because you can run around ("loop") it. Some loops (generally the larger ones mentioned above) are more complicated than others, which is why you find tutorials on the best way to run around them. It's also worth noting that the generic loops like the shack, jungle gyms and T/L walls consistently appear on outdoor maps, but usually not on indoor maps such as Hawkins, Lery's and The Game. Indoor maps tend to have more unique loops and tiles, which is one of the reasons why they're more difficult for survivors to play on.

With all that being said above, if you have trouble looping or using the basic tiles that spawn in most maps than I suggest you watch this video below to give you a better understanding of how to effectively use these loops.
Here's the video I recommend you watch about loops and basic tiles
[SIDE-NOTE]
Some of the maps in this video have been reworked, or don't show these basic tiles in them. Newer maps such as Hawkins National Laboratory, Sanctum of Wrath, and Dead Dawg Saloon are also not present in this video. This video goes over several basic tiles that still exist in Dead By Daylights most prominent maps, any and all information from this guide is still useful for review. Please keep in mind that this video goes over the most common tiles that you'll find in Dead By Daylight, it's not a review about the maps themselves.
