An opinion about Resistance.

ive been playing since launch now. The only reason i mained killer in this game is because survivor is extremely boring and stupid in soloq. In resistance, you have the mechanics from r2remake put into co op so its already interesting. Then you have a game master who sets the environment and the vibe. You can't predict what'll do unlike in dbd where you can loop forever. Soloq in resistance is much more fun, and your grade depends on your performance, dead or escaped. I have had games as survivor with A rank despite losing, and likewise with Mastermind as long as i gave my best.

If you havent played the game, dont say it's trash like you literally played it and decided its trash. Flaws: it has bad matchmaking and is peer to peer. The good thing is 7/10 games i have stable ping, and equal leveled games. bugged queue times, but overall not too long when its working (i can comment for only east coast, and it is region locked for better pings): instant queues with survivor, 3-5 mins tops with mastermind.

It's such a new game that i cant comment on balance, and neither can almost anyone. People still havent got to max levels and customized their decks. For now though, mastermind clearly requires significant brain usage. They can clap with alex wesker and spencer or throw hard by spamming cards in front of survivors.

i dont know if this game is dry or good enough to contest dbd, but judging by dbd's stats and its special community, doubt it. However I'll definitely be playing it because of how much fun it is.

forgot to add april 17 new free update that includes jill. So keep an eye if you prefer ig.

Mastermind is INCREDIBLY weak. Any optimal team literally just runs past your zombies and pretends they aren't even there. I was gonna play both equally until i realized Mastermind is a bigger clown than the weakest DBD killers. 100% gonna be a survivor main all the way in that game.

We cant know yet. In the beta mastermind won 99% of the time. That was probably because the deck was maximized and loaded etc. now we have terrible default decks with spencer and anette. I remember a game with alex wesker as the mastermind, i got rolled by her poisoning, and she was around level 15 too. Its too ######### early to say much with real value.

When I first played it I thought it was ok, but the more time I put in the more I enjoy it. It could definitely use some balancing and the controls could be tighter but mastermind is a lot of fun.

Ironically the biggest problems with the game are the same problems DBD has, non-existent ranking pitting people with everything unlocked vs people with nothing unlocked, long queue times for one side, and the fact that you need to grind perks/equipment/add ons to stand a chance. Not sure why some people are negative on resistance when all these problems plague DBD lol.

Just wait till you face a Martin, Jan, Tyrone, and Val grenade death squad.

Im a Tyrone main and all I do is spam grenades and kicks. EZ wins every time.

I have figured out a new deck for daniel. It's about maximizing buffs on one tough zombie, and controlling it. The puppeteer ability allows you to be safe to knockbacks, so i can just claw and dodge tyrone, since each claw stuns for a second. Then, if it's an equal trade, just pull out machine gun, camera protection, and farm time. At this point they will have 1 or 2 keys for area 1. Should be around 2 minutes. What i do is reinforce the last key as much as i can, and do the step for tough zombie again. However, the tough zombie gets put in the back behind a wall, and the bulk of zombies take most of the damage. While the bulk of the zombies are there, i control one of them to repeatedly close doors on the survivors, wasting their time and granting me potentional bioenergy for camera protection.

Just go with turret Spencer, problem solved.

There’s actually a bit of a delay to Tyrone’s kick. Thats why if you control a zombie with Daniel if you keep moving around he cant get you with it as you stun lock him with attacks. Survivors often seem reluctant to use grenades against him too as they tend to save them for Mr X.
