Candyman killer concept

Been chewing on this one for a while. First post here!

Daniel Robitaille / THE CANDYMAN

Speed: 115% / 4.6 m/s

Height: Tall

Lunge: Average

Vault: Average

Weapon: DANIEL'S HOOK

Constructed of twisted steel, the Candyman's hook has been tarnished by the blood of his unbelievers.

Power: BELIEVE IN ME

His legend will be known, no matter the cost.

The Candyman is a mythical Killer, cruelly punishing those who hold no belief in his legend, while using those who do to spread his terror and divide those who would challenge him.

Survivors facing the Candyman are classified into one of two Belief States: Faithless and Faithful.

Faithless Survivors:

Survivors start the Trial in this state. While Faithless, Survivors and the Candyman cannot see each other beyond a distance of 20 meters. Faithless survivors are afflicted with the Oblivious status effect and hear only the non-directional buzzing of bees within the Candyman's terror radius. The Candyman still sees scratch marks and blood pools, receives loud noise notifications, and can attack Faithless survivors normally.

After chasing a Faithless survivor for 7 seconds, the Candyman can target them by saying their name. This tremendously slows the Candyman for 2.5 seconds, but afflicts the survivor with the Broken status effect for 45 seconds and allows the Candyman to see their aura outside a distance of 32 meters. This action cannot be stopped or avoided once successfully triggered. (Targeting slow at 25% base speed or so)

Faithful Survivors:

Survivors become Faithful for 2 minutes after escaping or being rescued from a hook, or when they say the Candyman's name into one of the mirrors located in the Trial Grounds. Either method will remove the Oblivious status effect and visibility restriction. In this state, the Candyman cannot directly damage Survivors with his hook, instead applying the Victimhood status effect for 30 seconds while suffering a 2 second stun.

The Victimhood status effect grants survivors a delayed charge of damage, and will instantly down them if its timer runs out. If an afflicted Survivor comes within 10 meters of another Survivor, they will offload this charge into them, deal the other Survivor a single point of damage, cause them to scream for 3 seconds, and afflict them with the Broken status effect for 30 seconds. The Victimhood timer will not decrease while in a chase.

SPECIAL ABILITY: Mirror Teleport

Each time a Survivor becomes Faithful, they allow the Candyman to teleport to a single mirror for 2 minutes. This applies to a maximum of 4 mirrors at once, which are chosen at random. New activations will replace the oldest active mirror. Active mirrors will appear with a red aura for the Candyman. Bees will orbit an active mirror and heavily swarm it during the teleportation channel, which can be cancelled. Survivors can deactivate an active Mirror, but will be attacked by the bees in the process and will gain a single point of damage. The Candyman can interrupt a deactivation process by teleporting to the mirror, which will cancel the survivors' action without injuring them.

SPECIAL ABILITY: Honey Trap

The Candyman can set down up to 6 pools of honey which will immobilise Faithful survivors on contact. They can struggle out of the honey, which takes 5 seconds. From a range of 16 meters, the Candyman can attack trapped Survivors with a timed swarm of bees shot from his mouth. This attack takes 1 second to charge and 4 seconds to fire, travels at 6m/s in a straight line, and will instantly down the trapped Survivor if successful. Faithless survivors are not affected by honey traps.

ADD-ONS:

Common, Uncommon, Rare: Reductions in chase time before targeting Faithless survivors. Reductions to Victimhood timers. Increase/decrease in Faithful timers. Increases to the effective range of Victimhood discharges. Increases in time required to struggle from a Honey Trap. Status effects (Mangled/Exhausted/Hemorrhage/Hindered) applied with basic attack. Reduction to post-attack stun on Faithful survivors. Increase in active mirrors.

Very Rare:

Anthony's Baby Photo: Mirror teleportation can no longer be cancelled. Bees will swarm every mirror when the Candyman teleports.

Professor's Book: Renders the Candyman completely invisible and inaudible to untargeted Faithless survivors. The Candyman can no longer see untargeted Faithless survivors. The Candyman must target survivors from a range of 4 meters to attack them. Targeting can be performed at any time and can affect multiple survivors.

Cabrini-Green Map: Reduces active Mirrors by 2. Bees will not orbit active mirrors. Active mirrors cannot deactivate or be deactivated unless a new mirror is activated. Moderately increases teleport time and cooldown. (20%)

Impersonator's Hook: Victimhood has a 50% chance to discharge into the initially afflicted survivor instead of another survivor. Tremendously increases the Victimhood timer. (50%) Considerably reduces the Broken status effect timer. (30%)

Fresh Apiary Honey:Faithless survivors are affected by honey traps. Tremendously increases the charge time of a honey trap attack. (100%) Slightly increases the time to escape a honey trap. (15%)

Ultra Rare:

Iridescent Hook: Allows the Candyman to injure Faithful survivors with his hook. Survivors must be healed to discharge Victimhood. Increases the Victimhood timer by a random amount and makes the timer invisible. (25 to 100%) Survivors have a 50% chance to inflict dying after healing themselves or being healed by others.

Bliss of the Ignorant: Survivors will remain Faithless for the entire trial. Allows the Candyman to teleport to any mirror in the Trial Grounds with a 30 second cooldown. Mirrors can be deactivated for 60 seconds, but will produce a loud noise notification when the process begins. Considerably decreases the deactivation time. (30%) Trumps all other add-ons.

TEACHABLE PERKS:

Level 30: Just One Kiss

It only takes one touch for you to ensnare them. Any Survivor who cleanses a hex totem, sabotages a hook, or disables any physical Killer asset will reveal their Aura to the Killer, and suffer from the Exposed status effect, for the duration of the affected action plus 2/4/6 seconds. Just One Kiss has a cooldown of 40/35/30 seconds. (Note: "killer asset" refers to traps, portals, mirrors, etc.)

Level 35: Other People's Dreams

Your presence inspires a contagious anxiety in those around you. After hooking a survivor, Other People's Dreams activates for 40/50/60 seconds. If the Killer damages a generator when the perk is active, the next Survivor to repair the generator will silently gain an electrical charge. When coming within 4/6/8 meters of another Survivor, including while healing or unhooking, the charge will empty into them, making them scream for 3/4/5 seconds and suffer from the Exhausted status effect for 20/30/40 seconds. If the survivor is already Exhausted, their timer will increase by this amount.

Level 40: Helen's Myth

Survivors are motivated by those who have come before them, but equally share in their fear. Exhaustion timers start with 30/25/20% of their total progress completed. For Exhausted survivors who repair Generators, Great skill checks are eliminated, with skill check trigger odds increased by, and success zones reduced by, 50/60/70%. Missed skill checks deal an additional 3/4/5% regression.

Me gusta su poder y el asesino en si pero sus ventajas enseñables están muy rotas o ya existen como complemento de otro asesino.
