Killers should be able to see what perks, items, and add-ons survivors are bringing
There's just too much power variability on the survivor side for killers not to have this ability. If I see 3 toolboxes in the lobby, I'm bringing a mori. But then at the end results screen, I see it was just brown toolboxes with no add-ons, instead of what I thought which was green toolboxes with BNP and stuff. Same with yellow flashlights compared to purple instablind ones with Odd Bulb and everything.
The reason we need to see the perks is because of 1 or 2 powerful survivor perks: DS, and Adrenaline imo. DS is just so punishing to get hit by, especially when multiple survivors have it. You have to assume everyone has it, and slug instead of pick them up again. It also works from grabs like from lockers, which I think is unfair and is abuse of the perk. But then there's matches where 1 survivor or nobody had DS, and I played around it for every survivor, causing me to waste time and lose. With Adrenaline, the survivors get a free health state AND a sprint burst, even off of hook. You need to know whether survivors have that or not, because if everyone is pushing gens while injured and then they all get healed to full, that's an unwinnable situation for the killer, even if he was winning.
Should survivors also be able to see what the killer has? No. The killer should be the power role, and this being a 1-sided mechanic gives them a small edge, especially over SWF.
Again, the thing that inspired this idea is the crazy power variation survivors can have. One match I'll play Spirit and get a 4k, but the next match I'll get a 0k. This happens because in the first match the survivors were suboptimal and didn't bring OP stuff and run full meta perks, and the second match they were all good survivors, SWF, 4 DS and Borrowed, and BNP. It's not fair that the killer has absolutely no idea what he's up against until he's losing and it's too late to adjust his playstyle to compensate.

lol this post is honestly the sadest killer based one ive ever seen and ive seen people saying head on is too broken

Take a break. Maybe play CIV 5 or something.

Lol, imagine complaining about toolboxes after the nerf. I would not even pick them up out of a chest to use it if I had another item, because you will get less gen progress swapping items at the chest than just doing a gen.
They are practically a meme unless it's a commodious with BNP and even then it's still worse than an instant medkit or a key.
11 -
How about no?
Seeing rarity, I can kind of understand that, but add ons and perks is a big no.
2 -
This would be too overpowered, and would encourage BM.
1 -
That would ruin the surprise of my head on!
Insta-blinds don't exist anymore btw
8 -
BNP is a free 25%, just saying. now with Ruin nerf its even ez'er.

And a key is the only thing that will save your life when your team is getting slain and blowing pallets like there is no tomorrow. Then the killer finds the RNG hatch first and you just automatically die unless you get lucky with the gate spawns. I'm good with that, I would at least like to have a shot in some of my games where my team is bad. Especially these days, where urban evading noobs who can't loop are in red ranks.
And I will take an extra health state over like ~20 seconds of gen progress any day of the week.

ure forgetting "Left Behind" which lets u see the hatch. survivors are given second chance after second chance after second chance.
2 -
That's a bad idea for so many reasons that I won't even bother bringing them up. Current lobby system is ok, it could use a few tweaks but overall it's fine and doesn't need almost any changes.

so what? instasaw is free -36% charge time or -33% (depends how it stacks) xd do i think survs should know killers add ons before game? no? its enough killer sees items overall (btw and being able to check profiles is BS imo)

No

It's hitbox is exaggerated, just like with pallets. You stand back to avoid the stun, and you get stunned anyway.
1 -
They were buffed. Less durability, quicker progression.

Why do you feel that hatch is fair? Why should the killer's last kill be chalked up to a coin flip? It spawns even if no gens have been done, and closing it doesn't guarantee the win, because gates can be so far apart, the survivor escapes before the killer can get from 1 to the other. Keys are just cheating. You didn't complete the objective yet you and possibly other survivors get out for free. Keys also give bonus points for hatch escape, whereas moris make you depip.
2 -
insta-saw isnt a free nothing, because unlike BNP insta-saw requires some skill. killers cant see profiles when on private so ure logic doesnt stack. nice try tho.
2 -
Not a bait. A bait would be saying "There should be 7 gens".

And remember! Survivors can just choose not to get hit by it if they mindlessly spin their character around!

I would limitedly agree with the OP. I do not agree on the perks because that is way too much information to know before the match. but for the items (tool box, flashlight, medkit, key, etc) the information really isnt there but the survivors can find out you're a trapper because they spawned next to a bear trap, you're a pig because they spawned at a jigsaw box...... lots of information there. now the add ons, it's easy for survivors to know what add-ons you have. for instance on the ground at spawn in you see a bear trap that is dark as can be, you know they have used the green add on to darken the traps. that's power plus one add-on, shortly there after they observe you setting two traps in a row, now they know you have atleast a brown bag, could be yellow or purple, but know that you can carry more than one trap at a time. and within minutes they know more than you do of the survivors. there should be a way the killer can determine what the add-ons and items of the survivors are.
Also at the end of the match, you should be able to know what character each person played just as they know who you are by your power in the scoreboard. (that's just so you know easily who needs to be given a report or a great job etc.
1 -
idk where u got that idea from.
0 -
The only thing i might give to you is being able to see items better
It's really hard to see when some characters are holding a key or not
Revealing the rest just ruins all the surprise factor
I actually like getting pebbled once and a while and it's hard enough to use as is
1 -
Nope. Don't want to play Dodge by Daylight.
2 -
If someone doesn't healed and continue doing gens they are running adrenaline mostly. If they hop into a locker they are most likely running ds. You can kinda tell what other have by their playstyle and how coordinate they are. If you can't then you should adapt.
2 -
Imagine calling Left Behind a second chance perk. /ROFL
7 -
A big fat no to all of that. Lobby dodging is bad enough with what killers can already see in the lobby.
2 -
Same can be said for survivors. Drop pallet, stun killer, still get hit. Jump through the window entirely, start running, still get hit. Double standard much?
They were nerfed. If you actually read up on things before talking about it, you'd have known that while yes, the progression goes faster, due to its lowered durability, a toolbox will not repair as much and is overall weaker than what they were before.
Well, if we're going to talk about how a "coin flip" isn't fair, I'll just remind you that solo queueing as a survivor, is 3 coinflips made: Are my teammates good enough to have a chance at winning this, or not? So on the argument of coinflips or not, hatch is fair.
If gens are done and survivors escape through the gate, you've lost the game. Hatch existing or not has nothing to do with it. Sounds to me like you just want easy 4k's all day everyday.
None of your arguments make sense. The game is being made easier for killers by the patch. Wait a couple more and maybe you'll get your first 4k, instead of suggesting quite frankly stupid and insanely onesided ideas.
PS: This is you being bad at the game. Go against a good Billy and he'll laugh as he sees you attempt a useless 360 to dodge his chainsaw. I guarantee you.
5 -
Whatever dude. Baby survivors always complain the game isn't easy enough for them. I don't know why I try to convince them.
0 -
Again, the same can be said for baby killers when the game isn't easy enough for them. And there's been a lot of complaining from them, too. What's your point here, huh? You've got none.
4 -
The survivors themselves can't see others perks yet which is logical to be in game and you ask the killer to see them haha. You made me laught here !
1 -
Yes they can. It's called SWF.

As a killer main...
0 -
HAHAHAHA

"Killer should be a power role"
They are. If you play good. Or most likely what you meant by that is that killer should be given a free win. No they shouldnt.
2 -
I'd rather take advice for changes from a baby killer than a baby survivor any day.
Survivors have it too easy. And before you say anything, I'm Rank 3 and yes.
Survivors have it way too easy.
1 -
Pretty sure that killer perks were covered for dead survivors so that they couldn't relay perk info to the team, because killers said, rather vehemently, that it wasn't fair. Which it wasn't.
So why should you get all that info 4 times over for nothing?
0 -
BNP has two difficult skill checks. Fail them both and you get only a 15% progression.
2 -
it is, survivors failed @ doing gens and now they got a perk to see hatch. killers dont have that perk or ability.
0 -
This is bait right?
2 -
Nah, i'm good without.
1 -
From a killer main. This is a big disagree. There's no reason you should just get to know the survivors full kit.
1 -
Quote: "Same with yellow flashlights compared to purple instablind ones with Odd Bulb and everything."
The devs removed "insta-blind" YEARS ago.
2 -
"two difficult skill checks" jajajajaja now thats funny. again no skill in BNPs
0 -
So bias its blinding you. Survivors have been getting nerfed nonstop one way or another and people still not pleased lol
6 -
Survivors don't have it easy imo. Before you say anything I'm rank 1 and yes.
Survivors don't have it easy lmao.
Quality bait post. Almost couldn't tell @danielmaster87 ! :D
1 -
Good, now what about no one seeing nothing? Go from the first lobby straight to the game?
I think it will be much better.
2 -
Lmao, really? Most competant killer players arent bothered by Head On
0 -
I think survivors should see each others perks (but not the tier) and what verity if they have an item... as solo survivors
Killers have ZERO need to see everything before going into the game... allow the survivors playstyle to give hints to perks
Also it would end up being -see multiple DS brings ebony mori-... no thanks
Hell even offerings can give you a clue as to who has what perk...
0 -
The fact you're calling people to tag team doesn't really convince me you're correct.
0 -
Survivors should be able to see who the killer is then.
