lag switches
Here is my biggest problem that I have experienced that ruins the game for me personally. You play a perfect game as survivor , then as soon as the last gen pops it happens. All of a sudden your character begins bouncing around or rubber banding as if the internet connection is terrible. It is obvious that what's happening because you don't experience the issue until u are about to escape then it becomes impossible to do anything and the killer easily downs and hooks a survivor. You try to go help and you get to the hook the game freezes, when it unfreezes you are down in front of the hook. The killer now hooks you and anyone who tries to help you suffer the same fate. A winning game becomes a losing game in 60 seconds and you are powerless to do anything , and conviently the killer seems completely unaffected imagine that. You must be stupid not to realize the timing saved the killers game. And I play or Xbox so if u report the player in game nothing happens and if you report to Microsoft ....... Deja Vu nothing happens and since it happens quite frequently why bother playing.

Lmao, you realize the game runs on dedicated now, right? Lag switching like this is impossible. The killer will just lag out, that's it.

Nice try but even on a dedicated server the is still a lobby host connection to the server which is the killer, but nice try.

It's likely not lag switching but the dedicated servers. There are quite a number of issues with their servers for XBox. They've disabled dedicated servers numerous times on XBox as well.
Edit: Apparently dedicated is still disabled for xbox.

No, you're trying to hand evidence over to me in a format I can't see. I get it's frustrating, but I can't just take your word it's what you say it is, so unless you can maybe find your friends reddit, twitter, or facebook thread on it, I have to assume it's fake.

Take it from me. After watching the clip it's either:
A. Lag switching, as it started as soon as he lost his NoeD.
B. Killers wifi went ######### as soon as he lost his NoeD.
I'm going with A, very small chance that it was a coincidence.

Also people that respond about dedicated servers actually understand what the term means. Slow me to explain when a game especially a game from a small company comes out they rent space on a server that is actually being used by multiple game titles which means the server must sort thru data from several titles. A dedicated server is when a single title uses the whole server so there is no reason to sort thru data because it is all the same. It is as simple as that it is not a magic cure.

Nah, I played the same Myers last night twice, and started rubber banding insanely as -soon- as the guy was on my ass. Not any other time. Can't convince me I wasn't being lag switched last night. First instance I'd noticed of it though in the last 3 months.

That doesn't happen just listen to people who play on PC and have no idea about the difference on console. It reminds me of the commercial where the patient is on the operating table waiting for surgery and the nurse asks the doctor. Are you a doctor and the doctor replies no but I stayed in a holiday inn express last night

Just had my first experience (that I was aware of) tonight. So everyone trying to damage control because they are dishonest. Yeah I would probably say the same if I had spent hundreds of hours on a bad game
They spent so much time on it they can't admit it sucks cause all of those hours would become worthless, it's alright kiddo you'll stop when the game's dead and your suffering will be over. OP is NOT lying.

I got accused for being a lag switching cheater even though the killer hit me when I couldn't move after trying to unhook someone because I was teleporting all over the place so I messaged them saying it was annoying for me too and you hit me when I couldn't move.
