What is wrong with this community?

Sometimes, I get amazing survivors, as in their attitude, no toxicity, then other games I get horrible survivors.

I was doing that key challenge, in the tome which is quite difficult, and because I escaped with the key, the killer and my "teammates" are telling me I deserve to die.

Why is this community so bad I get told I deserve to die because I'm using a key, doing a challenge, like what is this.(they have been reported)

People abuse others on this game because they think they can get away with it. The problem is that they do get away with it.

Just perform this thought experiment: If abuse was strictly enforced, and people were permanently banned from this game first offense, you think so many people would be abusing others in this game?

That makes me wonder, if every dbd player was banned because they told someone to die (players who actually did this), I wonder how many total bans there would be in that category?

Make a "facecamping list" and just go after the people you know are toxic. Everyone should do this I think it's the only way to get toxic players to quit playing the game.

And reward the good guys, give them hatch and stuff. This is how I play the game.

Facecamping doesn't make survivors quit playing. They can just DC or play something on their phone. All it does is make you lose points.

    Humanity is toxic by nature.

Though their comments are horrid and are not condoned and I'm not defending them, did you tell said survivors you had a key or make any effort for them to follow you to the hatch? Salty killers will be salty. But if you straight up abandoned your teammates, challenge or not, that's a dick move.

I personally hate it when someone does just enough to complete their ritual or challenge, and then suicides/escapes without everyone else and essentially kills us all.

I couldnn't save them, it was a nurse, camping and would've got me, I had no choice to leave them, so it's not my fault.

Anytime someone makes the statement online to another of "go #########" (not to anyone just to make sure people know what I'm talking about) it is a known CYBER BULLYING action, as well as a BULLYING (if in person). it is punishable by federal and state law. this is not something to make a jest about. look at what happened with those that "SWATTED" others. where they contacted authorities in another state, said this other person (usually someone they didn't like or were just playing against) and said they have intentions to use weapons. for instance terroristic ways etc, thus causing a SWAT team to be sent to a place thinking there were heavily armed people breaking in and when people move it's possible and has happened that people DIE in this instance.

This should be seen as a THREAT and should be reported as such. there are people serving time for swatting and more need to be shown that if you threaten people over the internet you are not immune to the law. It is petty and silly to use that phrase to someone for any reason, there are people that play games to get over anxieties and this could easily push them over the edge. STOP THINKING that they shouldn't be playing dbd because of this, that is not your call and theirs. it how ever IS your responsibility to not be a jerk and say crap like that.

I take it you were the last one alive? Since yeah going to save someone else, if the killer is camping them. Is very risky and likely to result in your death. More so if you are injured. Since sometimes it better to just get out and escape, than go back. Since sure i sometimes seen it work. Epic last minute save. Other times it just turns into pure death for everyone and just ends up benefiting the killer more than it does any of the survivors.

Which yeah, don't worry about these unsportsman like players. I seen a lot of good sports but every now and then you just get that one bad sport that can ruin your day, even if everyone else is great.

3 of us, 2 on the hook 2nd stage and me at the hatch, (hooked very close together) I could not save them, and didn't feel like trading, I'd have died anyway. I knew where the hatch was so I just left, instead of giving the killer the 4K.

That dbd for you where you get the small percent you can play with. Then you get those who report cause you didn't save or you did something that you shouldn't have done in the first place.

Just leave after you escape, there's nothing stopping you.

Yeah that sounds like a perfect position for the killer to be in. Which yeah, with it being a nurse. Alot of things could go wrong performing that save. Be it the nurse using her power to get to you quickly. Or simply walking between the hooks and notices you.

Which as someone who has seen to many failed saves. I might be alone here but i would rather someone escape, than come back for me. If things were this risky. Since in your case, the risk was far to high vs the reward. Since i would rather one person get out, than for no one to get out.

I agree with you. Genuinely good, kind people don't feel the need to make death threats against strangers, no matter how bad a day they're having.

Its just bullies trying to feel relevant at something.
