Franklin's and other unexpected slowdown perks
So, I've been playing a metric butt ton of killer during the bloodrush and I've managed to climb from 20 up to 10, and the perk that's proven more valuable as I've progressed has turned out to be FD.
I started running it one night when I ranked too far too fast thanks to a couple good games and started getting flashlight bullied, lol. But then I realized how often survivors would go back for their items.
I know it's frustrating as hell to go against, but it's been a surprising asset in terms of keeping opponents occupied outside of chases, and occasionally tricking them into more risky plays.
And now it's part of my go to build, especially if I'm playing during high traffic times. It's not as useful obviously if there's only like a medkit...but when the clickyclicky intensifies Franklin's saves my beans.
What about you guys? What perk surprised you and became an important part of your loadout that you didn't really expect?

I like to use Franklins when I play killer and see a solid flashlight team...or a Halloween lunchbox. I like to smack it out of their hand and yell, "MY FLASHLIGHT/LUNCHBOX" and then cackle with maniacal laughter to myself like a crazy person. 😂
I was surprised how clutch Plunderer can be for survivors. I ran it for a little while and had a couple situations where I was either able to get a much need high-end med kit while injured, or a toolbox for multiple gens, or a key when I was last on the map. I have played for a long time and only recently have I actually run that perk. Idk that I'd consider it part of my main build, but It was a nice change.

Insidious and Tinkerer
Now, hear me out.
I decided to just embrace the Insidious Bubba meme, and threw on my p3 leatherface and nodded and tantrumed and the like, so the survivors would at least know that Im memeing.
But, camping is quite boring, so I decided to leave, but Tinkerer activated at the same time, and since the hooked survivor couldnt see me, (they told me later) so I was able to leave unnoticed.
So I didnt camp for the rest of the game, but every survivor kept playing around my hooks very slowly and cautiously.
So I decided to try it again. This time, I insidious camped one person, and allowed them to be saved. Sure enough, the survivors were expecting me to camp and they didnt save the hooked person until I had downed another one on the other side of the map.

Plunderers in actually one of my favorite surv perks too. It's the Skinner box thing lol. Push button --> happy light go on.
But yeah, having a clutch medkit or key is awesome. I'm waiting for all my Franklin's karma to come up when I run it now, haha.

Franklin's demise to me is incredibly powerful and incredibly useful in the one niche that it fills. Its not just smacking the item out there hand, its the effect it has afterwards.
Once the chase is over, you know the survivor will want to go back there to get the item again, meaning more time they're off the gens, and a better idea where they will be. It also makes it so that medkits won't have enough charges to finish a heal, and cleavers don't distinguish between those who are almost healed and those who are freshly wounded
Outside its niche? You get nothing, usually a toolbox has been used up by the time you slap it, no one really brings maps, and flashlights aren't all that powerful overall. Without items its pointless, but with itens its amazing
