Can we get a way to ‘try out’ killers before you buy them?
The splinter offering (which was pretty bad anyway) was removed a bit ago and so there is no way to try out killers now.
Their definitely needs to be another method where you can try out killers. What about a ‘wild card’ splinter offering that spawns in blood webs extremely rarely and let’s you use one perk whilst testing out any killer you want? I think that would be pretty good as you could actually see if you enjoy playing a killer instead of just spending $7 and hoping they’re kind of fun

Yeah, it's the PTB for PC.
For console, do your research on YouTube, Streamers, see if the playstyle is fit for you.
For past killers, no idea. Sorry. =/

Unfortunately, experiencing buyers remorse still gives them the money so I don't see why they'd give people a free try.

I feel like you should be able to try out a killer twice for Live Servers after the PTB is out, and once for every previous killer you haven't played but you don't own the DLC.
A one time game seems fair to me, but you can only use the free perks that comes with the killer and you cannot advance their bloodweb.

Why? You can literally buy characters with shards

I dont get why they removed the splinters. They should have changed that they were so expensive (7000), but the rest of it was a nice way to test them. If it was about me, i would bring them back.

That’s true but i mean if you got to try out a killer and liked them then you would be a lot more likely to buy them than if you didn’t. I guess it just comes down to whether they think people will enjoy playing dlc killers or not...

Oh I agree they should still be in the game, but I assume they just want more money or something, or it was causing bugs they didn't feel like fixing.

Splinters used to be a thing for licensed killers... but they didn't want to deal with them, so the devs removed them.

Because they were bugged, and they couldn't be bothered to make them work again. BHVR taking shortcuts, as usual.
