So i was thinking of buying GhostFace
Im a huge scream fan, watched the movies countless times. And i was wondering, Is he like the Ghostface in the movies or someone just wearing the oufit? What does he do? Does he have cool cosmetics? Does he have the movie oufit? Is he fun to play? And is he relatively decent/good? Thanks!

He has nothing to do with the movies, basically the developers got the license to use the look/mask as that was not made for the Scream movies but just used for them.
Basically the ghostface is a outfit that belongs to "Funworld" which is where the license is from, so again, nothing to do with the movies.
Regarding what he does I would recommend watching some videos on twitch or youtube like from Otzdarva, basically he stealths and stalks survivors and once a survivor is fully stalked the ghostface can M1 them down in 1 hit like Myers.
Cool cosmetics? well you can just go to the ingame store and check what is available.
Yes he has the movie outfit as the movie outfit is not from the movie ;)
Fun to play, yeah I think so but he can be a tad buggy regarding the ability to stalk or regarding survivors getting you out of the stalking mode (by looking at you)

Zone petty much cover everything i can think of. Which leaves me with only a few things to add. Ghostface best add ons, are his recovery add ons. Allows him to get his power back faster. Which can be useful in many cases, be it a survivor spotted and reveal you or just to get back to sneaking around slightly faster. One trick you can do as ghostface, is to 99% stalk someone from afar and than later fully stalk them, to catch them off guard. Yet op if you want to see how ghostface plays out in a real game. I got him cause im a Scream fan too and he was 100% worth. Really fun to play and Zone said everything else. Cool cosmetics is up to you and personal preference. Personally i dont like the new red outfit but LOVE the movie outfit!

It always feels great when you can sneak up on a survivor and grab them off a gen. Doesn't always happen but when it does. It just feels amazing.

Yes, he is definitely a competitive killer and it's pretty funny to teabag the survivors back lol.

Ghostface is my favorite killer to play! He's sneaky, he tbags, and he can get instadowns through his sneakiness. Also easily has the most fantastic mori animation. He took a little bit to get used to playing, but once you get the hang of stalking and such, he can be really fun!
As for being really good, I think that's definitely up to whoever's playing him, but I will say that when I've gone up against red rank killers while playing SWF, the Ghostfaces are always the MOST terrifying to go against.

I agree with this, he is one of the “scariest,” killers to go against. For me stealth killers give me the most fun because they can surprise you.
He is a good killer too, I don’t know if he’s “too tier,” I don’t get into that but if you play him well he can give you a good game even against red rank survivors. Plus again, I enjoy playing GF and wraith the most I enjoy doing the stealth play

It's completely unrelated from the movies. It's the real mask, but the character behind the mask is an original character with their own lore and story.
The best way I could describe him is a fast paced stealth killer. You very rarely stop moving with him. You can activate your stealth mode whenever you want and it doesn't slow you down. Stalking while leaning around a corner is very quick, and you can attack right out of stealth. But if you're seen by a survivor, they'll break you out of your stealth mode. There's a little more to manage than some of the other stealth killers (gotta' keep track of your power cooldown, angles people could see you from, etc.).
If that sounds like something you're interested in, I'd say go for it. He's one of the ones I play on a regular basis.

No wonder Devs play this killer. This killer don't have limit to exposed people. Once you healed after hooked. GF can stalk and exposed again , Of Course 1 hit again. ( Not like Myers. Once completely Red we as killer can't stalk again. So, Basically can't stalk when completely Red )

Hey, fellow Scream enthusiast! GhostFace is absolutely worth it! Some really great cosmetics, excellent and fun mechanics and a decent lore for this iteration.
Dead By Daylight does the GhostFace legacy right by making it(as has ALWAYS been the case because GhostFace is a concept NOT an individual) a brand new killer behind the old familiar mask. What they get VERY WRONG however, is that they failed to provide our favorite slasher with a map(No stomping grounds for a killer based on stalking and familiarity? LAME) OR a specific survivor that they are obsessed with(I am of the opinion no one at this development company has ever seen a Scream film) So, there are huge pros and cons to the concept applied here but ultimately Ghosty was my sole reason for even buying a Switch let alone this game and I am not disappointed. Almost prestige 2 with him and it has been a blast and even rotate between Pig and Legion too. Very fun triad. Happy hunting!

He's a fun killer to play, if you use his power. But play other killers as well, the number of ghost face players that are in ranks outside of their capabilities due to camping/ night shroud and nurses is outright sad. He's essentially the new wraith, casuals will pick him up and miss out on learning game strategies as a result while pipping. Nothing is funnier than watching a ghostface bloodlusting me on a safe pallet, because the player doesn't even know what a safe pallet is. R1 PS4 btw

Yeah, did it recently in a few games as spirit. Of course, also did fail to get a grab, due to the servers. So yeah, you can still grab survivors. Depending on if the servers favor you that day.

Me having all killers never seen more than 10 minutes of any of the movies but as a horror nut and seeing the demon face outfit had to get it. Just got viper mask and have the classic shroud look sick.
