Rank reset glitched?

My rank reset announcement came up on the menu as it does every 13th of the month, but neither rank actually changed. Is this a glitch or intentional?

    Usually just restarting the app fixes it

    It's DBD. Logging in can be considered a glitch. XD

    If your rank didn't reset, it's likely just a visual bug. Restarting the game should fix it and cause you to reset to the rank you were meant to be reset to.

    Mine did that last month, restarting resolved the issue. The month before it reset me all the way back to rank 10 though.
