Was Anyone Else Hoping For A Grocery Store Map?
I genuinely thought we would be getting a grocery store map. Which woulda been hype for me.
IDK what it is about grocery stores, but empty grocery stores at night or early morning freak me out. It just seems really off to me, so I was hoping to see something like that when I first saw the Ghostface Trailer.
I mean, sure, it woulda been hard to do that given the usual setup of DbD maps, and the Game isn't a good example either since most people hate that map. But I still would have liked it aesthetically. How hilarious it would be if the exit gate was just some automatic doors with a giant switch next to it.

I always wanted Starcourt Mall, sadly it wasn't to be, maybe Stranger Things Season 4 could bring a new killer?

Thankfully not, enough of indoor maps. They are visually cool but gameplay is just horrible on them.

I just figure that we could do more than just having every map look run down and abandoned.
Having a map looking clean and modern is always nice. Its why I like the aesthetic of Haddonfield (and literally nothing else about it).

don't know if that will happen. From everything I've seen it looks like the Demogorgon will be the star in season 4 after its 2 season long break. I doubt BHVR will do another stranger things killer anyway as the Demogorgon was the only humanoid shaped monster in the story unless you count the mindflayers drones.

Honestly a mall could actually be a smart idea, considering it can be an indoor map that doesn't have to be cramped

A Dead Rising chapter/paragraph is requested pretty often (or maybe that guy on Twitter is a vocal minority 😅) and it would have some good map potential. We could get a good indoor map with the mall.

My only complaint about indoor levels is that blood will almost universally guarantee you can't hide.

I think a theme park would be a cool map with a horror house ride, a tilt-a-wheel ride, a rickety old roller coaster, a cotton candy building, etc. You get the idea. Clown would be right at home there assuming they can fix clown.
