Question for tunnelers
So I honestly have hit a point in this game where most of my matches suck and I have over 500 hours and ive loved every bit but ive never thought about quitting as much as recently now before anyone says anything currently rank 2 surv and rank 5 or 6 killer so I understand each side and you cant use the whole "you obviously don't play this or whatever" so I digress killers who tunnel all the time why do you do it I understand toxic players or you are losing bad but why do you guys do it every day and every time no matter what and camping too I honestly want to know not get some sarcastic answer that doesnt help at all I just want a discussion

Anyway, about your question regarding tunneling. You should know the game is in a very unhealthy state for killers. Map design is abysmal and gen rushing is a legitimate issue. Many killers play scummy out of frustration.
Normally, tunneling and camping doesn't work so well against good survivors. But because there are so many lousy survivors polluting the player pool, tunneling and camping often works.
Basically, what I'm trying to say is the devs have poorly managed this game. So, it should be no surprise that the players are suffering.

I hate tunneling as much as the next guy but this is correct. Survivors just want to play, so if the killer tries to tunnel or camp they'll carry on trying to rescue, or bodyblock. All you can do really is rush gens. The only people this doesn't work against are swf who will work together and sacrifice one to spite the killer.
In most games camp, tunnel, NOED wins the game. It is true that it falls on the developers that such a low effort playstyle has a high chance of winning.

Yeah, sorry I was really upset. Due to the fact that I was tunneled by a rank 9 ghostface on Hawkins, but he did it to everyone ad the map was so in his favor which is one reason why I brought this up. Of course he wasnt very good at it so he only got the lower ranks but I ran him around and died to noed and killer having hatch priority and I called him out for that and he responds with the "still got 4k" and to me the biggest insult is that people are dumb enough to believe that their win was a good or worthwhile win which is why I wanted actual tunnelers to give their 2 cents.

Totally agree, it sucks because im in solo queue for the most part and I get tunneled or camped for honestly any reason. Regardless of how the match plays and honestly red ranks is worse than green ranks now. But I also hate that the killers think they are good at killing when no matter what a survivor does if you camp and tunnel they eventually die. And if they are good at running then they are the martyr for the teams success but its I possible for a survivor to never die if they don't have teammates to help them. Which sadly since im solo attempts to body block are rare and the gen speed is slow.
