Question about game rules
I know that the rules say "hate speech" is not tolerated, but what exactly does this mean? I've been filing reports under "communications abuse" for anyone who says something racist (N-word) or homophobic (F-word), but is this something the devs will act on?
Also, I could have sworn that flooding the post-game chat log used to included under communications abuse. Has it since been removed, or am I just remembering wrong? Is it no longer against the rules?

Those words are definitely the kind of thing that would typically merit a ban. If in doubt, you can always just report it and leave it up to the team to decide, as long as you check the Game Rules first and make the call based off that (as opposed to just reporting something because you think it should be bannable, for example).
As for your second question, I don't remember spamming the chat ever being a reportable offence, but if it was it's not listed as being against the rules now, so I suppose we can fairly safely assume it isn't punishable.

They've acted on hate speech before, it's for sure enforced and not accepted in pre or post chat (in-game). If it's somewhere outside of the game itself, than you'll have to deal with it through THAT providers report systems. Say, if they say those words on Xbox, than you report them through Xbox. If they say it in-game on PC, than that's different.
When it happens on Console through in-game than that's different, I believe Xbox also takes care of that (could be wrong though). As for hate speech in-general, you should for sure report it if it happens to you in-game.
As for the second question, I also don't know where to site this, but I do remember it being a reportable offence. If I can find it for you in the future, than i'll update this comment. As of right now though, the Game Rules doesn't seem to mention this... So I don't remember where I saw this (probably in the in-game reports).
