Ideas to slow the game down (gen speeds)

  1. could have the survivors have a second objective. Instead of spawning and just going right to a generator. Maybe have them find parts or something before they can start the gens.
  2. Maybe Killers could sabo generators. Besides kicking them. They could shut one down for a certain amount of time or make it so if they interact with a certain one they get injured. Idk just something like that.

I like the idea of the second one. Perhaps make it a new perk on a new killer, and have it act like Overcharge with a difficult skill check that when failed causes the survivor to go into Deep Wounds or something.

Another idea I'd been thinking of was have survivors gain gen repair speed based on their contributions, so have it slowly rise to the current speed from something like -25% less. The more a survivor contributes toward a Gens repair, the more speed they start to gain. It wouldn't be ideal, but it could certainly weed out the survivors who like to let everyone else do the work and just wait to use a key/get a free hatch escape.

Red Rank Killers still win the majority of their games, by a large margin. Hell, even the All Killer category across all ranks, the killer gets 2k or more in the majority of their games. This is probably why BHVR ignores all the complaints by Killer and gen speed.

The game seems pretty balanced right now and will be even better after the infinites are fixed.
