100% DC by Dead by bugs.
I was trying to play after a busy day and in the first game "gg" 😯

i've never been banned by a game crash, only if my internet disconnects as i dont DC on purpose.

It is not my internet, I have been playing WarZone, Fortnite, Halo this week without any problem, this particular game freezes very often ... A while ago it happened just when all the gens were repaired, I got my adrenaline and a game crash.

They need work on a better system. In a span of a week my internet was overloaded and disconnected me from the internet getting me screwed by unrealistic nan times. I’m all about punishing a disconnecting weenie but these penalties are ridiculous

Again, you cannot really tell if someone pulled the plug because they wanted to or because of something else. There can't be a better system.
They can only reduce the timer penalties a little bit.

30 minutes means you had some more DCs before. Dont think this is the games fault.

I just got a 24h ban yesterday cuz my internet this past week was unstable af. Keeps randomly disconnecting but since we're stuck at home, I can't stop playing, so I keep getting thrown out of matches. Was it my fault? No, but I still get punished for it. At least what they can do is remove the leave match button and then if someone pulls the plug they can keep a record of what state they were in prior to Dcing (healthy, injured or downed). If they were healthy before Dcing , it is most likely a crash or a random DC, but if they just got downed and DCd, it is probably cuz they pulled the plug. At least this way, they can minimize the amount of innocent players getting banned. They got dedi servers, I'm sure they can come up with a similar solution, BUT THEY RE LAZY, oh DC ban his a$$.

this is why i think dc penalties shouldn't be a thing YET because there are simply too many problems that will interfere with the penalties

I’ve been playing non stop the last three weeks. Game did not crash once. Sometimes my game freezes at a game loading screen. I lose my offering and there was no DC penalty.

Yeah, the escalation is ridiculous for this reason alone. Other people will be like "Man, I don't ever run into bugs so nobody else faces this problem either!" But the fact is that it does effect some people, and that's why the penalties shouldn't escalate at the rate they do.
I'd recommend finding something else to play for a couple days. Your next penalty is a 6 hour penalty. And when it happens due to a crash, if you're anything like me when it happened to me, it'll frustrate you a lot. I'd say play a different game for 4 or 5 days, and your penalty should be greatly reduced.

Whenever the game forces me to DC due to EAC stopping abruptly I consider if the game is still worth playing as I redownload EAC... again

I only have 1 intentional DC on my penalties and I DC'd because the swf just walked up to me and told me to kill them so I DC'd because I wasn't having it.
All my other DC's come from dealing with bugs, couldn't cloak as Wraith, couldn't blink with Nurse, got thrown up on hook and got stuck mid screaming animation and there was no sacrifice progress and my teammates couldn't save me and EGC couldn't do anything about it so I got stuck on the hook. And BHVR has no intention of fixing these bugs either

Trust me i know this all to well. I play on switch and let me tell you if you think pc has it bad switch is way worse for some people. Like me for example i havent dced at all but like you it froze and kicked me so i waited the ban and went to play again not even a game later the same thing happened. Once those were over i switchex to a different game come back a day later abd the same thing happened but it went from a 6 hour to a 15. The decay rate of the ban is way too harsh especially when stuff like this hapens and i even have video proof of it happening.

I almost had this happen to me today. Luckily it crashed on the lobby. I've been unlucky other days though. They could at least distinguish between DC and client crash which gives you the option already to send the crash report. If one is sent then no penalty should be given for that.

Theres no point posting screenshots. Some of these people will defend Behaviour no matter what. They’ll never believe you just because it doesnt happen to them.
I had a fair few crashes last summer. Also had issues where the game would freeze for about 60 seconds too. These issues come and go over the life of the game. Normally brought on by an update and fixed by a following update.
The game is half baked. It shouldnt have penalties this harsh but Behaviour couldn’t care less once they’ve got your money so I guess the company line is...maybe play Civilization while you wait out your 6 hour ban?

I've bought 3 copies of this game and tons of extras for my kids. Our internet is unstable and this ban is ridiculous! I just bought $100 worth of auric cells for my youngest and he is not going to be able to even use them due to this penalty. There has got to be a better way to track this! You think youre the only game that has this penalty? No, but you sure are the game with the worst solution for it! Looks like I can spend my money elsewhere. Pretty sure these guys are gonna lose a lot of money if this isnt changed.
