Freddy has the longest arms ever

I realize Freddy is a strong killer, but I find it near impossible to play against him because his lunge animation doesn't match his actual attack. Last time something like this, an animation, made it very hard for a survivor to win, it was with the spirit when they teleported through windows. Animation shouldn't be the reason I can't win a single chase against him.

Happens all the time
It's true, it's like he has extended arms that we can't see and dead hard very very very very much rarely works when he swings (almost never). The exhausted status effect icon would appear on the side. It's all very frustrating.
