Redeemed shards for bloodpoints- no bloodpoints

I bought Balanced Landing & Make your choice in the shrine; to get the bloodpoints. The game took my shards but didn't give me the bloodpoints. I definitely had both perks before i bought them in the shrine my Nea is at level 50 and same as pig. Other characters have the perks too so I am confused why I didn't get the points. I play on PC and this has never happened to me before.
