I haven't played the game but I watched some videos of it. While I think games can have simularities, this is just a whole new level of the chinese marketing.

The gameplay. It looks like DBD's gameplay. Pallets, windows, jungle gyms, killers, red stains, it own way of sacrificing, generators that look like typing machines. What. Is. That?

For real...

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate this game but I'm just facinated over a fact there isn't much talking about it. It's scandalous in a soft way. Or not... IT'S A FREAKING PUPPET DWIGHT, TELL ME I'M WRONG. Coraline x DBD -> BOOM. The only thing original about this game is the artstyle and the style of dolls with buttons in general. It's interesting and could go in its own unique way but here we are.

I know devs kinda supported the game because keeping good attitude is professianal and stuff. BUT. This is just Dead by Daylight in another artstyle, tell me I'm wrong. DBD mobile has launched not so long ago and this game is floating around since 2018. And it's so successful, like, can you see all these crossovers and merch???

Maybe I'm wrong and the game shares basics with DBD, enlighten me!

Its actually a pretty fun game, the "hunters" have some cool powers. Only problem I have with it is the absurd amount of infinites

Its basically more of a PG version of Dbd, I'm not against it, it targets a different demographic than Dbd does.

It's actually a literal Chinese ripoff of DBD, but BHVR was able to cooperate with the company in order to turn it into a legitimately licensed ripoff instead. Which is a bit of a happier ending than how that kind of thing usually goes.
