Blindness is a status effect that you get as a Survivor. It prevents you from being able to see auras. It's a negative status effect that you get as a side effect of being able to be completely hidden in a locker. This is intended and if you are wondering why this doesn't happen on some videos on Youtube, it's because the video is probably old and was done before this was introduced. 👍️

The Blindness status effect makes it so that you cannot see any Auras. When you enter a Locker you always gain this status effect, meaning you essentially cannot see Auras while in Lockers. However, your Aura can't be seen as well (specific to Lockers, not to the Blindness effect itself).
