Trying to get better but the game isnt being fair
Ok so im about to rant a bit now, i usually play legion, shape and huntress but have been teying to get better with nurse, i have gotten better but im a rank 11 and i keep getting matched up with rank 4 to 1. I dont think this is fair since they are way better than me. Im not saying that the killer always has to be better but that i get matched with people of the same skill level like other games do. Does this happen to anyone else?

Just because they're higher ranked doesn't mean they're more skilled, and yes matchmaking is a common issue.

Going up against people that are better than you is pretty much the best way to get better. As long as you're open minded, reviewing your gameplay, identifying what you could do to improve, and actively trying to implement those improvements; then you're going to learn more from losses than wins.
However, if you're also trying to win or enjoy yourself in addition to getting better, then I can understand the frustration. But as far as getting better alone is concerned, that's almost the perfect environment.

Yes, MM is broken. It's common knowledge at this point. Maybe it will get fixed, maybe it won't. The devs claim to have a plan, but who knows if it will actually work?

Practice with friends, go to KYF and practice, it helps more playing against someone you know, it should be useful.

You sound like a good killer. Take matches like those as a measuring stick to see just how good you are and what skills do you need to improve on. It's a slow process, but if you're dedicated to getting better, you'll be able to not only hang with the higher ranks, but win some games too. Don't let it frustrate you though and know your limitations, your strengths will be enough to get you by. Good luck in the fog!

I don’t think you realize it’s not that simple especially with a “baby” nurse survivors often see a new nurse player struggle and the bullying intensifies this is no excuse for matchmaking to continue to be allowed the way it is. Especially swfs will brutally beat down and bully a new nurse player.

If you just get absolutely destroyed in 4 mins, you'll not learn anything asides frustration

Higher rank survivor most probably have higher in-game hours, which probably means higher skill.
Of course there are some boosted survivors there, but you'll most likely to face experienced one

Btw, don't practice so much that you get burned out like me. You need to enjoy the game sometimes too

As stated in the live stream today, we are actively working on MM. It's a priority, but it's a surprising amount of work to get this sort of thing working properly.
