The Doctor
this killer is so over power since the redesign. Serious they can add certain add ons and they can shock the whole map and find where every one is at. It has happen to me three times today. If I face this killer there’s no point of me trying against him. I’m going to lose rank and pretty much be tunneled or camped the whole time. But on another note if he shocks you to Tier 3 you literally are useless and can’t do anything. There should be a way you can allow us to snap out of it at tier 1 or 2 so we won’t have to be affected as much. Can you please redesign this killer where he doesn’t hold the game hostage the whole time.

yeah not really

you will notice most doctors fall into a very predictable pattern: down a survivor use static blast, or hook a survivor use static blast. Get in a locker. Just pay attention to how the doc plays. Also the cool down on static is decently long without a purple addon, when you think it’s about to come off cool down: that’s right, jump in a locker.

I don't necessarily think Doctor is overpowered but I have to admit he is the killer I least enjoy going up against when playing as a survivor.

Quite boring to play as well. Lots of the high tier killers excepting Billy and old Nurse are quite boring.

So think about it as the survivor point of side and just imagine if you had a doctor that shock the whole map when you are definitely no where close to him or the hooked survivor. So tell me if that’s fair in any sorta way. Now should fix that issue cause this killer is the only one I can’t win against no matter how many times I tried. I know how to play the game since I been playing over 1 year and half now. The Doctor is definitely an S tier killer that is impossible to play against. The one person who said no not really you’re not really putting much input with this discussion so if you have no valid points then don’t leave a comment. I thank the other people who actually took the time and added something to my discussion post so please stay out of this discussion post. I’m asking nicely here

Here we go again, another player whining about a killer cause he just didn't know how to counter.
The doc is terrible at this state take it from a level 50 prestiged, the speed reduction on his shock therapy needs you to be really lucky or wait for a mistake from a survivor to win a loop, he is VERY add-on dependent especially in those red ranks you must have a range add-on and an at least green rarity book.
The only thing he excels at is tracking survivors but if they know how to loop well his shock therapy only makes him worse in chases, just try to avoid other survivors and mainly spread out when playing him, he is in no need of a nerf in the state he's in rather a small buff to his shock therapy.
Moral of the story just learn how to play against him.
So as much as I hate to be explaining this, how do you counter him?
KEEP YOUR DISTANCE, THIS ENSURES HE CANT GET A HIT AFTER HE SHOCKS YOU
Run pallets for a loop around the length of the pickup truck they have on several map, the longer the better obviously, if he tries to shock therapy he gets slowed down, and if he tries to hit you stun with a pallet and run. Just keep in mind that using his shock therapy takes time to charge, it also slows him down during AND after shocking, so you may use this to your advantage to run to a window, and then potentially another pallet.
Edit: FYI his static blast does NOT cover the entire map, it goes up in a hemisphere with a default diameter of 32 meters (his terror radius)
His VERY RARE calm book increases it by 8m
Distressing perk increases it by another 8m
Monitor and abuse can increase it by 8m in a chase but it can be replaced with much better perks suitable for him (e.g Unnerving presence / Save the best for the last), Assuming the meta doctor player runs distressing, BBQ and pop.
Now i know, an average of around 46m terror radius on a doctor is a lot of area covered, but then again, even if he finds you just loop him OR hide in a different location.

Lockers have always been a hard doc counter even before the rework. And which purple add on works on cooldown?

Order shortens the blast cooldown by 2/4/6 seconds depending on it's rarity.

Is he better after the changes? Obviously.
But he's not over powered.

I literally know how to play against killers but this certain killer is overpowered. I have a video of me across the map getting shocked no where close to the killer or the hooked survivor. So you’re telling me that’s impossible....oh okay well my video must be wrong then cause it’s not the same range you just said. Oh wait it isn’t cause I have physical proof that happened in my game play.

Trust me my friend..doc is only good now if the player understands him..and if you as survivor dont understand him then you will make mistakes and he will punish..as the killer should always be able to do

I mained Doc before the rework, and I've gotten way more complaints about him back then. New Doctor can be annoying but you can also run Calm Spirit, or like everyone else says, get in a locker. He also is very add on dependent, if you go to a loop you KNOW he's going to shock you. Your counter, just drop pallets early or assume he doesnt respect pallets.

"better" is a subjective term if no qualifiers are given, and I would say that my enjoyment in playing him after the changes is significantly worse. I sincerely despise the chase music, and I'm not a fan of the static blast over the passive gain of madness either as a survivor or as a killer. I would take back "old" Doctor in a heartbeat.
But, no, he's not overpowered. He still suffers mildly from the weakness a number of killers can suffer from: so-called "map pressure".

He is better in terms of chasing and how he can control his madness.
But i understand there are people who just liked the older versions (same was for Freddy).
Also with new update it should be better to apply map pressure, there's a hoping.
