Framerate (FPS) on consoles - Where are we standing right now?

Ok, according to @not_Queen from the last devstream i'm posting this again in the optimization section.

Playing both sides on Xbox since 2017 and have to say they really improved the framerate (FPS). Especially upgrading to the new Unreal Engine and the upcomming engine updates were a big step. Also they did a very good job in the latest maps like Hawkins, both Yamaoka maps and Lerrys rework. The FPS feels so much better there, almost 60 stable.

And then we have the mediocre maps when it comes to FPS: The MacMillan Estates, Autohaven Wreckers, Farm maps in general (corn is still annoying), both Asylums and Swamp maps, Gideon Meat Plant and Ormond. There's still room for FPS improvement, but at least i can play them without getting a headache now.

But there are still maps were it isn't really fun to play killer FPS-wise. I'm talking about Haddonfield, all Springwood variations and both red forest maps. These are the maps were your FPS WILL drop below 20 during chases. Compared to the other maps i mentioned before you can really see a big difference, even if you just walk around normaly. Also as survivor you'll notice a big framerate difference on those maps.

I remember them saying the goal are 60FPS for all consoles and for both sides ofc. So i wonder if that is still a high priority. Especially when we are talking about the potential of crossplay. Like, i can't be asked to set my sensitivity even higher then 100% in the upcomming patch when there're still maps with that bad FPS. And yes, i come more to the point that FPS became also very map dependend on consoles.

In short: Thx for the done optimization but please... don't stop here. There's still alot things to do.
