Rank matchmarking

Hello

Why is it that im rank 15 as killer and get matched up against survivors that have rank 5-7? Not that i notice any difference to be honest, by that i mean that i dont sense them being jerks with me. Usually i only notice when the match is over. And not to be misunderstood, i never got a full team of higher ranks. Is it because they are dropping or im climbing?

    Matchmaking is extremely screwed up right now. They are trying to implement a new system.
