Red lights on doors

Can we add a feature where the red lights are being removed from the gate opening process when only one survivor is left and the hatch is already closed?

There are way to many maps where the exit gates just spawn to close to each other or on the same side which makes controlling them very easy.

When Im in that situation the perfect (almost) play is to 1 light the door, the killer will typically think you went to the other one, and when they leave it ,finish it. Don't get scared and run, the killer will see your scratch marks and know you're there. Work for me about 5-6/10 times depending on the killer and map.

Ah yes because the killer destroyed your team. Then he found the hatch first. Then he has to get good rng with the doors. HOW MANY CHANCES AT A FREE ESCAPE DO YOU WANT.

seems more logical to have a minimum distance between doors to me, also the red light can be used to your advantage, just saying.

If i'm the killer i'll def check this area. The safe way would be to just push the switch a bit, but make sure there're NO lights on.

Then hide till the killer comes back and when he turns for the other gate again, you can open your gate.

This will work most of the time, except the gates are very close together.

I usually check the area too but it really depends on the map and door location as well as the killer I chose. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dude, i can tell you... If i'm the killer and i see a gate has progress by the lights (even it's just 1 light), the survivor is 100% hanging around there.

In that situation the best you can do is progress the gate the first 15%. Just before the first light turns on. Then hide and wait for the killer to come by and check. As soon as they turn around start opening the gate again. Unless its a killer with high mobility this works more often then not for me :)

As for removing the lights, no. At that point the last survivor doesn't need any more aid in hopes of an escape. The killer did their job.

If you are finding yourself a lot in this situation try Wake Up. Its and underrated perk imo. Its beneficial when your team is alive and if you are the last one standing.

Some tips: Thegate progessing bar has 5 stages

    No light: 0-24%

    1 light: 25-49%

    2 lights: 50-74%

    3 lights: 75-99%

    Open: 100%

Open "E"scape: open the gate until the bar reaches to that "E" then go hide (23%). Wait for Killer comes and go away. Then continue to open.

You know that 23% saves you 4sec, which is 26.6m walking length
