New Killer Idea: The officer
Killer: THE OFFICER
LORE: jonathan walter was a police officer employed at the winston police station. He was always secluded and away from humans when he was on his job, not wanting an official partner. However jonathan was never alone. His dog rex was always with him, and jonathan cared for him since he was a puppy and now they work together. Rex was a police dog, he would catch pounce on criminals and use his keen sense of smell to sniff out any illegal substance or any person. John and all of the members at the station loved rex for his amazing abilities and gladly welcomed him as a k-9. However there was one person who overlooked the dogs amazing abilities. it was jonathan's ex wife, one of the sheriff's at the station. After holding a grudge on jonathan for years because she felt she was always over shadowed by john's "dumb dog". She decided to do something about it, but this action proved her insanity that jonathan always suspected. Kate decided to provoke the dog after it was put in its cage at the station (something johnathan never agreed with). She would throw stuff at it to do anything to provoke it. She wanted to make the dog look bad, make it bite her on the arm, but rex wouldn't budge. finally she decided to unlock the cage and let rex free. Its almost like rex changed into a different dog because right after the chains were undone he changed from not caring to full on genocide. Rex lunged at kate with incredible speed , and tightly latched onto her jugular and began thrashing wildly unil kate's heart stopped beating. One of the officers walked in on this and the dog was ordered to be put down. When jonathan heard this he snapped, killing everyone in the station that got in the way of getting his dog back. Johnathan walter escaped the station with rex and their whereabouts are now unknown.
weapon: Police baton with rusted nails.
Mori: The officer crouches down and looks the survivor in the eye, walks away then cuts rexes leesh. rex pounces on the survivor and mauls them.
Ability: BONDED. The officer has his companion rex at his side on a leesh. After cutting the leesh you are in the perspective of the dog for 10 seconds. Rex can sniff out survivors and leap over windows and pallets. The ability is on a 30 second cooldown and cutting the leesh takes 2.5 seconds. The officer is equipped with 2 pairs of hand cuffs that can be attached to a survivor when downed. these will stop the survivor from repairing generators or healing for 30 seconds unless uncuffed by another survivor
Perks:
Security: after hooking a survivor when you are 24 meters away receive a notification when a survivor is within a 10 meter cone of the hook (if this were added it would need to be balanced)
Hot pursuit: when in a chase all pallets and windows are revealed to you
Flank: After kicking a generator you have no terror radius for 10 seconds

ultra rare: k-9 Training: reduces the time to cut the leesh by 2 seconds (down to 0.5)
ultra rare: Rexes Favorite bone: allows the officer to control rex for 20 seconds

Very interesting stuff here. I really like the idea of the attack dog and being able to play from the dog's perspective would be fun. I think it's really tricky to balance around though. Obviously the dog would move substantially faster than the killer and having running vaults over windows and pallets is really powerful. I think the thing that actually balances it would be that the killer doesn't move when you are controlling the dog. So when you are chasing the player with the dog, once that timer is up then they have a lot of distance to run or hide. I think once the dog lands an attack it should automatically put the game back in the killers perspective.
As far as the perks go, they should be distinguished as far as what ranks 1-3 do. The problem I have with security is that it is pretty much custom designed for camping. That isn't something that should really be encouraged imho. I think maybe going the opposite route would be a good idea. Something like:
Snitch- Whenever a survivor is hooked you can tell the progress of generators. Generators regress 50/75/100% faster for 45 seconds after hooking a survivor.
This would encourage the killer to go get generators under control and it fits with the theme. Hot pursuit is just the opposite of the survivors windows of opportunity which is fine. I doubt it would really see any play. I would change Flank to "After kicking a generator you have no red stain or terror radius for 10/15/20 seconds."
