Is it possible to invite friends from Microsoft Windows PC to STEAM?

My friends have DBD on Microsoft Windows PC, they got it simply because of XBOS Pass, i however, have it on STEAM. I have all my ADD-ONS and Progression on STEAM. Essentially i wanted to play with them, invite them.
1.Is it possible to ADD them?
As far as i know, ''Cross play'' will only allow you to be matched together, but is that ''RANDOMLY MATCHED ONLY''?
2. If not, is there a way to carry over my add-on to Microsoft Windows PC?

No, there is no way to invite anyone from the Microsoft store unfortunately. I don't even think you can add anyone from the Microsoft store itself, except other users of that store (I would assume).
Otherwise no, there is no way to add them and there is no way to carry over anything to the Microsoft Windows PC. Whatever data you have that's tied to that account stays on that account, this applies to every other version of DBD. Even though Microsoft and Steam have cross-play, there is no way to play with each other or add each other on different platforms.
