Any update on latency issues?

I have seen many logical post over time about how it should be tackled and or how important it is to fix but no info on how or when they will ultimately fix it......The games been out for 4 years I think its beyond over due to tweak and fix all the issues that come with it. I think most people find it toxic on both sides. Will these issues ever be fixed?
