Hearing the killer breathing as a survivor in a match

Hello guys ! I was just wondering if this is an intended feature that you can hear the killer breathing while you're in a match . Just played a match where I could hear The Trapper breathing and I don't know if it's a bug or not .

Yes, it’s intended although I never thought about Trapper. I think of stealthier killers like Pig and Myers who have unique breathing as a cue to GTFO.
