Pig rework concept

I feel as though I should start this discussion by confirming that I am not an avid Pig player, I am aware of the core mechanics of the killer, however my knowledge of advanced Pig mechanics and gameplay is constructed purely vicariously. So I encourage any Pig mains to offer constructive feedback to this discussion. Without further ado:

Changes:

Pig Weapon change- Sheathing & unsheathing during crouching animation is now silent.

Power change- (Reverse Bear Traps will be dubbed as ‘RBTs’ in this post).

Pig starts the game with 4 individual RBT icons in her HUD, each with a tally mark indicating either 1,2,3, or 4 (This suggestion is originally Otzdarva’s). The Pig can manually cycle between these to select one to equip before using it. Pig applies RBTs in the same way she does currently. However, the tally mark designated to the RBT equipped determines how many attempts are required to remove the trap, this allows the Pig to selectively eliminate certain players for short periods of time, possibly applying the RBT marked ‘4’ to a player who has been particularly annoying, thus killing more time. Additionally, when an RBT is removed, the Jigsaw Box is highlighted in yellow after a total of 6 seconds, indicating that this box was successful in removing a trap, the Pig can approach this box and reassemble the trap, allowing it to be used again. Trap reassembly takes 10 seconds. This allows the Pig to continue applying pressure with traps all throughout the game, and does not make her power moot once traps have been spent relatively early on.

Iridescent add-on changes-

Reassembly guide: Tremendously decreases the amount of time required to reassemble traps (Reduced from 8s to 4s). Prevents survivors from seeing auras of Jigsaw boxes until the timer has ticked for 25% of its total time.

“When you’re good at anticipating the human mind, you leave nothing to chance”- Jigsaw

Shortcut Switch: A survivor performing the unhook action with an RBT equipped will immediately activate the timer on the trap. Limits the number of traps carried by 1. (Traps carried with this add-on will have the numbers 2,3, & 4 designated”.

“You can’t save people, they have to save themselves.” -Jigsaw

I like this rework idea as a Pig Main. Making the weapon sheathing silent is redundant since I don't think Survivors hear it anyway.

My main concern about this rework is, are the tallies the amount of Jigsaw boxes the Survivors have to go to before the RBT comes off? Because if that's true, it's a bit OP as it takes about 10-15 to search a Jigsaw Box if you aren't interrupted.

Now, does the Pig have to pick up the RBT like the Trapper has to pick up his Bear Traps in order to repair the RBTs? Or is it just left at the Jigsaw Box?

For the addons, I'd rather the Reassembly Guide have different versions at different rarities? And I don't think it should prevent the Survivors from seeing the Jigsaw boxes, that's a bit too powerful for one addon even an Iridescent one. I like Shortcut Switch, however I would make it 1, 2, and 3 instead. That way there's a consequence to using it.

I don't main The Pig, but I play as her a fair amount and she's one of my favorite killers. I think the tally system on RBTs is a bit overpowered, and would enforce tunneling. As it is, Pigs (especially lower level ones) often will tunnel a survivor who has a trap on their head, either sacrificing them or wearing their timer down by patrolling jigsaw boxes; I think the tally system would just encourage and even benefit that sort of behavior, which makes the game less fun for survivors
