what does the yellow mori do compared to green and red , I think that with green and red you have to hook a survivor before you can mori them but with the yellow that is not necessary ?

    @batmanscar

    The Yellow Mori doesn't activate until there's one Survivor remaining in the trial. So if you kill 3 out of the 4 Survivors, than you can kill the last one by your hands. I believe you can also use it when 3 Survivors escape but one remains. The description says "to kill the last Survivor" in bold, meaning that if one Survivor remains than the option is open to mori them, even if the other 3 Survivors lived or died.

    It says all of this in the offerings description as well, i'll even post it below for you to read on your own.

    As Aether said, no you don't need to hang the last Survivor to use the mori.

    Hanging the last Survivor does not activate the Cypress Mori, it's activated when there is only one Survivor in the trial left. So this means even if the other 3 Survivors died or escaped, as long as you down the last Survivor than you can mori them with the Cypress mori. You don't need to hook them prior to this or anything like that, it's an automatic activation for the last Survivor that's left.

    That's all the Cypress Mori is, it's an optional end to the trial. Whether you kill them on the hook or kill them by your hands, it's just an option to end off the trial. That's all the Mori was made for, there isn't anything else to it. I think you also get slightly more points for mori'ing the last Survivor, but not much.
