I feel bad for taking advantage of the forced anti-aliasing, but since it causes some people unpleasant graphical outcomes, maybe it's time to run Lightweight? Idk, just an idea. It'll be hard to judge its effectiveness without Fixated though.

To be quite honest, there’s not much we can do :// we’re at a point where the devs and the other half of the community WANT survivors to fail, because that’s apparently their job.
I get the whole “killers are supposed to kill” but that doesn’t mean that we have to die.

I'm a survivor main (I go killer if I'm really needing bloodpoints to raise a survivors level faster), but I never really see a change when it comes to vaults and things in maps being changed. I very rarely use the ground windows when I'm being chased.
I tend to use Spine Chill, Lightweight, the perk that shows where killer is after a gen is completed (drawing a blank on its name right now), as my main 3. The 4th perk depends on how I want to play that round. I sometimes go Empathy for that extra killer sighting and I also like using Sprint Burst (as long as I remember not to run before unhooking someone or escaping killer).

We just gotta try to adapt, we can do it 💜 Try to run SWF and play stealth builds. But yeah I do agree.

That rubber banding was the reason I avoided window vaults while being chased. I always failed at going thru them without getting hit or downed. Even when I was at a safe enough distance to avoid the hit.

I had a good game yesterday. It was against a leather face and I ran him around for 4 gens and then he dc'd I did message the killer saying sorry but he didnt text back (lol) I do run kindred, spine chill, deadhard and any means necessary. With the very few pallets there are I thought it would help

Why do these things always have to be a "main" issue? Maybe you should appreciate the insight that players who play both sides can give.

Agreed, these "main" shenanigans make it look like there are sides that people need to take or roles people need to define themselves as being in. It's just unnecessary separation and classification.

Don't understand the big issue. People love to throw the words Killer Main and Survivor Main around as an insult. I do it in a huddle-up notion and I'm wrong? Like I said above, Killers are welcomed to have an input always. There are a few good pieces of advice up here from Killers. Don't know what else to tell you.

Didn't you say the reason? That the words are used as insults? You didn't mention in the title or post anything about welcoming killers so they have no reason to feel welcome, especially with how much hostility there is on the forums.

...because the focus of this post is survivors. They never expressly said they weren't welcome either, but the focus of the post is on how people who main survivor are going to cope with the recent patch. Why are you taking something total non-offensive and making it so?

I didn't say they were insults, I said they are thrown around as insults. That doesn't mean everyone throws them around as such. Seems like you just want something to argue about. I said Killers are welcomed, I'm not using Survivor Mains as an insult and I'm not interested in confrontation so please let it go. You are completely derailing the thread.

There was nothing wrong with this thread in any way. People (you) who are purposely looking for alternative ways to negatively interpret it are just muddying the purpose of the original topic. Which was not to talk about how this thread can be perceived as anti-killer, but to talk about how survivors are going to rally after the recent changes. Please just stay on topic. 🙄

The fact that you said in a follow up post that killers can respond (because you can't really stop them), doesn't change the fact that you specifically only asked for the opinions of survivor mains. More importantly, my point was not about killers, but people that play both. You seem to think that there are only killers and survivors, when many people play both sides and have a better grasp on balance and strategies than any main could. Why not just say "survivors" without tacking the title "main" onto it. You may think that it is trivial, but this whole "main" thing is very divisive.

The focus of the post is supposed to be survivors, not "survivor mains". Should I suggest a new title for you? Something like "Survivors, your thoughts?" would cause less confusion.

I'm not looking for ways to interpret it negatively, these ways are obvious which is why I'm concerned that OP is ignoring them. Besides, I can tell you exactly how survivors are going to rally. They're going to play the game. They're going to post feedback. Pretty simple, right?

The focus of this post is to provide tips/advice for Survivors that are having trouble to adapt to the new changes. Should I suggest maybe adding some advice/tips? Something like "Hey, why don't you try running this build?" Instead of derailing my entire thread over the word "main"

Here's some advice: play more killer, play to have fun, try more stealth builds, meme around more, be nicer, and keep practicing and learning the new map layouts.

No, serious. The outfits offer an advantage over every other character in the game. You will notice when the killer misses you hiding in plain sight.
I've had games on Yamaoka where my teammate goes down 5-6 feet away, procs an IF scream on me, and I can still urban evade away no problem. Or games where my teammate is looping something near me and im literally crouching nearby as they both run past me, the killer touching me with every loop.
It's clearly the best skin for stealth, and if the dev's want a stealth meta, you may as well play into it? Some of the maps you can still loop a bit on, others are map-wide deadzones where being spotted is a death sentence no matter how good you are. Only blendette can comfortably survive in those areas.

try stealthing a bit more as just expecting to loop all game is not going to work as well anymore and expect a resurgence of clown because he is near unstoppable in areas without pallets/vaults

I've been running Spine Chill & Head On more since this update. If hiding doesn't work, I can at least boop them on the head before taking them on a chase.

Killer main here but I’d like to disagree. The Temple of Purgation is now very survivor favored with mostly safe loops. The window on the one Macmillan map ( I forget the name) if played properly is unbeatable. Yes much of it is killer favored but if played right some of the changes can help survivors

Not that I saw today, however there are many god like pallets on it now where you have to maneuver around the stone walls to get a hit and those cannot be mindgamed.
