Is it hard to pip now as survivor?
Just had a game where i thought im going to pip for sure. But i got only safety pip. 2 gold + 2 bronze if im not wrong.

Nope.
I've constantly been pipping or double pipping. There are times I safety pipped but I've never depipped ever since the update came out.
This was with adept Steve. Though my experience might differ to others.

But first and third emblem may not be easy to earn points towards as they are dependant on your team as well. You obviosly won that game .

From the time i have played so far, ranking up as a survivor seems about the same as normal.

Actually I earned that Benevolence quite easily without needing to unhook anyone. Just healed a couple of people and did some protection hits. Maybe they tweaked it in this patch and didn't mention it, but of course until there is confirmation I'm just speculating.
As for the Lightbringer emblem, you gain them by allowing Survivors to work on generators while the killer is chasing you. So if you can keep the killer busy while gens are popping, it should be easy to get the Iridescent Emblem. Other than that, doing Dull Totems and Exit Gates also adds to the emblem. Though the most points you get towards this emblem comes from just repairing generators, so be sure to remember to do 1 or 2 gens to completion to get it.

It's still as easy as always. I did 1 and a half Gens, 4 totems, got chased for about 2 mins total, since I'm god awful looping. Saved hooked survivors a couple times and escaped. Managed to earn 2 pips. Other games I've had similar and died but still pip. It's insanely easy, and I really wish it wasn't because most times, I feel I don't deserve those pips.

You gotta admit though, Steve is looking pretty sexy in this patch.
I'm still pipping easily as survivor, and have a 50/50 of black-pipping or pipping when playing killer. They still haven't really addressed the issues of pipping, but that'll probably come later with the matchmaking updates.

The question is irrelevant cuz pipping is meaningless and will lose all its purpose as soon as the hidden SBMM goes live

But at least something changed about safe rescues. You can depip easily if you farm survivors.

2nd is the hardest to get up, if you dont escape the best you get is silver, all the rest are pretty easy to get up though and in my opinion too easy, although i think they made a change to altruism? i think i read that in the patch notes or at least i hope because thats too easy to get up

Winning game can always end up like that . But what about losing? If killer dont prolong the game its hard to pip. Its easy to pip as survivor and lose the game ie its easy to going for pip but not going for winning the game. Also you win chase only if you escape chase without getting hit. That kinda force you to waste pallets ie it force you to lose the game .

Actually you tend to "Escape" a lot more than you think. You just need to make sure you don't hear the chase music anymore and it counts as an escape. You don't even need to waste a lot of pallets to do that. Stunning the killer, having them break it and running into the next loop tends to "End" the chase before another one starts.
