Jeff may be a big, loud boy but he is the cutest and I love him very much, a good goth boy. I hardly see him, which is a shame because he has the best cosmetics in the game, so I'm glad my friend decided to main him alongside of my Jane so we can both be thicc together in the fields. :D

William Bill overbeck
Bill, 'cause who doesn't like a Vietnam war veteran

Dwight Fairfield
Dwight. Can relate in many ways.

Ace Visconti
Ace Visconti - Suave, Sophisticated, Silver Tongue, Confident, Classy, Charismatic, Ladies man, and Lucky Bastard.
Sniping out the hearts of all with those finger guns, and the only guy who's cool enough in such dire circumstances to wear a damn smile on his face. What's not to love?

Jeff has my favorite backstory of the lot, he has my personal favorite perk, and his design is nice and simple. Jeff just looks good, and he has several good cosmetics.
Also, you forgot Steve.

america dont like Vietnam war vets, remember the protest against the war and the way the troops were treated on return

Ace Visconti
Are you really gonna get political on the forums? He clearly meant story wise, the grizzled Vietnam war veteran who's been through it all and seen some serious ######### is a staple.

yes i am, and how do you know He clearly meant story wise? he never said that.

"yes i am, and how do you know He clearly meant story wise? he never said that."
Uh, maybe it's because we're talking about Fictional Characters? Who exist in fictional Stories??
Not to mention the fact that you're literally talking politics that are decades old, and has no relevance whatsoever in the context of Dead By Daylight? Like hello? *knocks on head* anybody home??
No, this guy just wanted to talk about the long, costly and divisive conflict that pitted the communist government of North Vietnam against South Vietnam and its principal ally, the United States. Which was intensified by the ongoing Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. That cost more than 3 million people (including over 58,000 Americans) their lives, while more than half of the dead were Vietnamese civilians. And created a bitter divide across the nation, even after President Richard Nixon ordered the withdrawal of U.S. forces in 1973.
Because who wouldn't want to have that conversation on the side while also answering "who is your favorite character in a video game"?

if bill is a vietnam vet then its not a fictional Story his character is based on fact. knock that about your head

Ace Visconti
Does. Bill. Overbeck. Exist? If. Not. He. Is. Not. Real.
Not to mention Bill's story isn't about his past in Vietnam, it's about him beating the crap out of ZOMBIES. Regardless of how compelling his history might be it is not the focal point of Left 4 Dead, nor is it the focal point of Dead By Daylight.
"Knock that about your head" you're absolutely delusional if you think otherwise.

i never said bills story was about vietnam or anything else i was just replying to someone saying that everyone likes vietnam vets and staiting a fact thats not true, i dont dislike them just saying not everyone did at the time

"America don't like Vietnam war vets"
Is that why they are so honored and well respected to this day? Most have been through hell and are thanked for their service. Why even comment?
4 -
Dwight Fairfield
they wasnt at the time. and i commented because i can, thats what this is here for right?
0 -
William Bill overbeck
My friend, I have no clue where you got the idea that I was talking about that time. It's a rhetorical question firstly, and obviously I'm talking about present day. Same thing with any veteran. World War, Vietnam, you name it
0 -
Dwight Fairfield
i didnt say you was talking about that time i was
0 -
William Bill overbeck
And that's your way of disrespecting veterans who went through such a bad time? There were times where certain people didn't like World War veterans either and those who went through tours in Afghanistan. At the end of the day, they are still glorified and honored.
1 -
Dwight Fairfield
how am i disrespecting veterans? i didnt say anything bad about them i just said that not everybody liked them and they were treated badly back then, ive got nothing but respect for all armed forces, you should read what i put before saying i disrespected anyone

David king
It was between David and Adam, but I just love big beefy boi David so much. (Also because my main mans Steve wasn't an option.)

William Bill overbeck
"America don't like Vietnam war vets" Then proceeds to ask how they are disrespecting veterans...
Would you also go to people and say "America don't like World War vets"
C'mon man, be a better person and actually prove what you're saying in your second to last sentence is true
0 -
Dwight Fairfield
your comment makes no sense whatsever, i didnt ask how americans are disrespecting vets i asked how i was disrespecting them.
0 -
William Bill overbeck
Are you okay?.. That's the first ignorant generalization you made in your first reply to me, which obviously isn't true. In this day, Vietnam war vets are respected. So yes, america DOES like war vets for the most part.
0 -
Dwight Fairfield
im fine thanks, you see you said america does like vets for the MOST part what does that mean then?
0 -
William Bill overbeck
It means that there are a FEW bad and disrespectful people. You said "America doesn't like vietnam war vets". See the difference? Please tell me you're smarter than that...
0 -
Dwight Fairfield
i am. im also smarter to know that the few americans that didnt like the vietnam vets should remember most of the troops were sent there not by choice. i also understand why a lot didnt like them due to rumered behaviour over there
0 -
William Bill overbeck
That's right. And I'm sure a lot of those same exact people who were blinded by their political ideologies eventually let go of their anger and realized that those vets suffered a lot. I'm glad that in this day, veterans are heavily honored for their sacrifices and hardships. That's why they are loved by so many.

Dwight Fairfield
hope so, but still i was only commenting on a character not real troops
0 -
William Bill overbeck
Alright that's fine if you feel that way. Just think about how you word stuff cuz these are really tough topics to deal with. Have a good one
0 -
Dwight Fairfield
not tough for a adult but everyone to their own, its not my fault people get touchy over a game.

William Bill overbeck
Aaand there you go again. Adults would be the ones who would grasp the seriousness of the topic, bud. We discussed something that was outside the boundaries of game because you decided to state something out of ignorance and generalize the majority of the population with it.
0 -
Dwight Fairfield
wasnt out of ignorance it was fact
0 -
William Bill overbeck
LOL I'm dead... Saying that America(implying vast majority obviously) doesn't like Vietnam war vets is a fact to you... Plus you say that when there is clear evidence for the contrary such as the love they get. This pretty much confirms my suspicion about you. ๐

The troll baiter is the one who leaves, that's cute. So, ignorant AND lazy pretty much. All good, at least you were right about me leaving another comment. The second thing you were right about this whole entire thread.

Can you not go to the poll I created and fill it up with a petty dumb fight. The poll was to see who your favorite male character was. Do that somewhere else not on a dbd forum

I apologise, I'm just very supportive
