The generator concept
I always felt like with the generators being repaired they should have different repair times/duration and should be randomised throughout each trail. In my mind repairing the generators I doubt every single generator would have the same issues and would take the same amount of time to repair, maybe some would take longer to fix than others in order to prevent the games ending quicker than they currently do and will increase the duration of the trails (personally I’ve noticed trails going by a lot quicker than usual for me), to prevent generator repairs being too OP with this concept they will not be any shorter than what they take on average to repair now, but only a few will remain that way per trial.
For example: A base generator individually takes 80 seconds to repair, imagine if some generators base was 110 seconds and another 100 seconds or even just 90 seconds.
In order to bring as much balance as possible, perks that reduce generator progression could be nerfed and damaging generators will take less damage.
The whole aim of the concept is to have applied pressure during games, I main killer but I also play a lot of survivor and really get a thrill out of feeling the pressure and it just feels a lot more rewarding and challenging that way for me, I really do punish myself with my bizarre ideas.
I know this idea is massively flawed and never would workout but just putting the fun concept out there and having a discussion and seeing other people’s ideas they felt like was interesting but never would work would be good fun!

I can honestly tell you that that's the one positive things that Friday the 13th had going for it was that you never knew how a game was going to go as far as speed because you never knew where the items like the fuse for the telephone was. It did kind of add an element of excitement to me. But it also adds chaos which means a lot of your winning or losing was based on luck

I personally prefer going into games knowing what to expect from objectives, and although there is the element of randomness in generator spawns, knowing exactly how long things can take help you make informed decisions. For example, in F13, you could search an entire house and find nothing useful, or Jason could teleport on top of you within the first 8 seconds of the game (that's happened to me before). There's still the luck of killers finding you if they happen upon where you're hiding.
Generators already have some elements that adjust their time, like if all sides are accessible to be repaired from, but at base the 80 seconds are what everyone expects for generators on both sides - randomly deciding one should be longer feels arbitrary.
