My game keeps on freezing (Xbox)

For some reason my game just keeps on freezing, this can be in the lobby or a game and it just ruins the game and makes it unplayable for me, a killer could be chasing me and when I finally get to a pallet it freezes, 10 seconds later I teleport to a hook. It's unfair and it happens to often, if anyone's having the same problem as me or has some advice can you please help me out on how to fix it.
