New character legacy outfits

Given the nature of how legacy outfits for Jake, Dwight, Claudette, Nea, Trapper, Wraith, Billy, and Nea were obtained it wouldn't really be possible for new characters to have legacy outfits earned the same way. But I think itd be neat for the new characters to have legacy Prestige rewards available to earn for a short period of time after the character comes out. For example, maybe when a new character comes out you have 1 week to get as many Prestige on them as possible to earn Legacy pieces for them. So they still have the same meaning behind them ( playing that character when they came out and grinding for them to Prestige)

This isnt a bad idea, although maybe it should be only available to the first 1000 or something like that, just to make it that much rarer.

I know what legacy is but how did you obtained them in the first place? I wasn't around when the legacy cosmetics were a thing

I'm not saying any of the original legacy outfits should come back. I'm talking about new characters like yui, oni, zarina, and deathslinger

You had to prestige with the old bloodwebs back when it took 2 million bloodpoints to even hit 50 it was a really rough grind which led to the developers reworking the bloodwebs and that led to legacy being given out as a reward for people putting up with the grind.

I understand what you meant but as i stated the concept of legacy is retired and the developers even stated that themselves it wont come back even for newer characters.

Due to the grind to prestige your Character being made much easier in Patch 1.3.0, the Developers decided to reward Players who had put the time into prestiging their Character before the Patch. With every Level of Prestige obtained, the Player was granted one legacy prestige Clothing Item. These are the entity touched apparel, similar to the blood-soaked clothes you receive for obtaining a regular Level of Prestige.

This was a limited time event and only having reached Prestige prior to Patch 1.3.0, could you obtain these Clothing Items. The deadline was 24 November 2016. They are no longer available to earn in-game and will never be re-issued. There is no legacy prestige for any Character released after the event and licensed Characters released during it.

Did you read Properly? That Looks like hes talking about legacy for newer characters which the developers have said wont happen also not to mention Legacy is even in the title of this post sooooooooooo yeahhh might wanna take your own advice seems you skimmed through and made a comment that can easily be debunked by just reading the title and post itself.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Bro you can't compare a reward to ingame addons and offerings it is set in stone because behavior has publicly stated it millions of times it wont happen i know its a hard pill to swallow but it wont happen man.

"coming back" means having the possibility to earn the old legacy for the original characters again. He is talking about NEW legacy. Therefore there is nothing coming back but coming new. Get that straight. Kthxbye

There are somethings that sound smart out loud but when you comment them they really lose that smart value and instead make you seem like you didn't read what i said at all.

"they won't do it for new characters you're best bet is Hallowed Blight" That's in my statement there bud once again you are not really proving anything again it's time to stop you took the L on this one.

Since I'm a console player, I have an unpopular opinion about Legacy skins.

People who didn't get a chance to earn Legacy should get that chance. There could be an event every year that starts on November 1st and ends on November 24th.

A week prior to the event, you can sign up for a chance to earn a Legacy skin. Once the event starts and you have signed up:

    — All Bloodwebs will be converted to the 2016 Bloodwebs until the event ends or if you resign the event.

    — You gain BP from the old 2016 scoring system until the event ends or if you resign the event.

    — You do not receive BP multipliers from offerings past November 24th, 2016. BP offerings that have been buffed after November 24th, 2016 such as Sachets and Wreaths will lose their BP buff.

    — BBQ & WGLF is banned from use.

    — Your previous BP balance will be reduced to 0, but once the event ends or if you resign the event, you will get back your lost BP balance.

    — All characters that have Legacy skins will have their Bloodweb level be reduced to level 1 prestige 0, but once the event ends or if you resign the event, you get back your character's lost Bloodweb level.

    — You can resign the event if the challenge is too great.

    — You cannot progress Bloodwebs for characters that don't have Legacy Skins nor can you play characters that were added after November 24th, 2016.

Once the event ends, you will be awarded Legacy Skins depending on who's prestiged and what prestige they are. Plus, everything will return back to normal. 😋

Honestly that is immaterial because a post isn't binding, they reserve the right to do whatever they want. It has happened in many other games, where super ultra-rare exclusives awarded for X criteria or during a very specific time were later more widely released. Legacy could very easily return should the BW get a major rework. I personally don't care, so this isn't about advocating for legacy to return. Just wanted to point out that promises on forums, blogs and social media don't necessarily mean much.

That's the main problem, this event does a lot and there's so much that can go wrong.

Just one wrong variable and poof, there goes your progress. :(
