SWF NERF
Tell me how SWF isn’t nerfed. How is it fair that survivors have communications that can effect ruin, gen speed, and optimal ways not be nerfed. It’s a 4vs 1 game where the killers are already weak compared to survivors. I can’t believe the devs haven’t looked into this. I promise more than half of them are survivor favored. Just add this to the LIST of things the DEVS haven’t fixed. Terrible

Many people have already stated this.
It's an issue, every killer main knows this. It's also a touchy subject, you can't punish friends/acquaintances for playing together, if you do, it cannot impact their gameplay too much.
I've seen some ideas throughout time spent in Dead by Daylight and the removal of perks per friend makes the most sense to me and/or rewarding the killer more bloodpoints for their effors.
For a Duo SWF, removal of 1 perk per player.
For 3's, 2 perks and for a full 4 SWF, removal of 3 perks per player. They'll still play together, yes but it'll be a challenge to THEM as much as it'll be a challenge for the killer.
^ ^ ^This seems the fairest of all ideas to me.

Devs have been continually making changes to the game for over a year to help alleviate the pain points of SWF on Killers. This latest patch is a prime example. It is a 4 v 1 game, but Killers are not weak compared to survivors. Perhaps less advantaged against SWF, but Killers have many features about their design that is intended to enable them to catch their prey regardless. This game is killer slanted in many ways for solo survivors because of the changes implemented due to SWF, and SWF do not make up the majority of match teams. So chill. Killers are doing just fine and will probably continue to get balance/QoL adjustments against SWF. Rome was not built in a day.

So 4 people would have one load out? LOL yeah, that sounds fair. 🙄

Well im really nit trying to be mean here but i cant put tjis delicatly. The removal of perks is a horrendous idea as they have paid for the game and wanna use their perks that they leveled up and got on their characters (same as killers) not to mention that it would just increase lobby dodging. However i do think that they should get a 25% bonus bp for each swf(same as solos as they are not in same group) this would at least make it more rewarding to go up against a swf.

Sorry but....4 people on comms vs 1 killer sounds fair to you?
And 1 Loadout + Addons isn't fair to the 1 killer who has to put up with this?

I've always been in favor of the Bloodpoint idea.
Can everyone reading this at least agree to give the killer a Bloodpoint bonus instead?
There has to be some compromise.

Yeah, it really does.
Yall act like every SWF is a Rank 1 SWAT Team every single time. This is a fallacy. A lot of friend groups who play DBD together are just having fun, and Killers do just fine against them. Especially now. I have a lot of friends in the Stream community who play with their viewers. They, like me, are red ranked survivors. They still have people die. Because they aren't sweating every second of the game. They are joking around, sand bagging one another for fun, and making dumb mistakes in the name of altruism. And they're fine doing it because they're just having fun with friends. What happens to the survivors as their teammates die? One person gets to go head to head with a Killer with one perk because they were having a fun, casual game with their friends? This is ridiculous. People would just stop playing. You can't alienate a swath of people who bring more players into the game. At the very least, it's a bad financial decision.

My SWF is a Swat Team.
I'm not saying we're the norm, but when it comes to my SWF it's extremely unfair to the killer. Every Rank Reset we do a Rank 1 Push, out of 30 games or so we die at least 1 or 2 times. The killer deserves some compensation here.

You are one try hard team out of thousands of casual teams. You are the exception, not the rule.
Changes because of SWF already makes the game more difficult for solo survivors, even though solo teams out number SWF teams. But I understand why these changes are necessary for Killers.
Changing the game to be attuned to SWAT SWF, arguably the smallest segment within the survivor community, would be dumb.
I'm not saying facing a SWAT SWF isn't a PITA and a more likely loss. But you know what, as a solo survivor I put up with a lot of ######### I just have to suck up and move on to the next match. It's part of the game and no one seems to care. I don't feel bad that a small percentage of the time, Killers occasionally encounter people like you. They can consider it a learning opportunity.

The thing is that the only way to nerf SWF is to remove anti tunel perk, let me explain myself.
the game unbalanced is due to a loop
Survivor control the speed of the game with fast gens speed
You can't relly nerf the gen speed cause they need a way to control the game if they face a camper.
Therefore killer should have the same option to counter survivor who swarm hook/do bad play by tunelling
But survivors got extremly good tools again tunnel and these tools put kiler in bad position even when survivors does potatoe play
If you remove these tools Solo survivor will struggle more.
But then again, with these tools killer can be forcer in a situation where camping is favorable
But survivor got some anti camping tools and can use them even if killer doing it simply cause survivor are swarming hook
And you cant remove these tools cause that would make any kind of camping viable
So now the problem is that survivor don't have the weakness of a team, They got way around their friend doing mistake, but they will alway profit of each other good move.
In my opinion, anti tunnel perk should be removed cause survivor can abuse them to do bad play that become favorable to survivor.
The issue with that is that solo survivor will complain, but honestly. I don't care, if im chassing survivor A and he decide that it a smart idea to unhook Survivor B while he injured, well too bad for survivor B, They should both go on the hook. I don't care if B is a solo survivor who could'nt do much on that. He should'nt be immune to his teamate mistake with BT or DS 1 min immunity. As a Killer I should'nt have the struggle to slug you for a whole minute while defending a hook and making sure gens aren't worked on. Survivor A did a mistake that should be extremly costy for his team. It suck for survivor B but that how team work. At the same time, as killer I need to accept that if I miscalculated my M1, I wont have another killer buddy to body block you.
Killer are alone. They do a mistake, there no one to help them, At the same time, they got no teamate to do bad play on them
Survivor are in team, Any favorable action a single member does affect the whole team positively, it should be the same when it a bad play. if your survivor friend put you in danger, you should'nt be protected from that danger.
I know it suck for Solo, but giving the killer the power to tunnel is the best way to fix the balance issue, it also remove SWF abusing these protection tools.
In the end it relly sad the most healthy way to deal with that is to nerf the one guys that aren't part in the problem too.

They will never nerf SWF. People want to play with their friends, if they can't they will find another game and leave this game. No Devs would want that. If SWFs are too difficult for you, I suggest you master the Top Killers (Billy, Nurse, Spirit and Freddy) and then you will be on the train to ez town.

Having actual comms in trade for 3 perks does sound fair yes.

hoprfully when the new match making system comes out, the seal team 6 swf squads will bubble to the top so they are matched with the best killers

Limiting the amount of perks based on how many people in the SWF is a bad idea because some just want to play normally, with a very average or experimental loadout, but with friends. There are bullshit perks that are really strong when stacked with others in the same group. Limit the way those stack instead.
