So your response is just I dont like to counter play doc the way hes meant to be counter played. Like ingot not wanting to go against certain killers, but you even said yourself that the best way to counter doc is to throw pallets early. You can also mind game docs like any other killer. Also do you really feel more outplayed by a spirit who legit has no counter play other then just guessing then a doc who has clear tells.

Comp DBD is a joke because of how much rng is in the game, and how many blatantly op items there are in the game, ask any high level dbd killer or survivor (they usually play both if they're legit good at the game) and they'll tell you the same thing. The game just isnt meant to be played competitively, it's built to be a casual game and will never be fully balanced. We can get closer but tbh I just want all the bugs gone first.

I'd rather take a spirit than a doc personally. It's not that there's no counterplay,it exists but it's literally just boring af. Besides how is guessing which side he's gonna end up after he shocks while you are at a pallet gym a mindgame for example? You can't see anything of him,especially if he uses discipline. You just 50/50 guess at which side he's gonna end up at for example. I feel the same amount of outplay both from a spirit and a doc,but spirit isn't as boring for me as she was before long time ago.

I mean doc isnt invisible (unlike spirit), sure you can't see his stain but good killers hid their stain anyways.

Ofcourse they will say the same thing,but you are Ignoring the rules mate. That's the point,so that you can come to balance as close as possible. No tourney allows more than 2 perks for survivors per surv. There needs to be diversity,so you can't run the same perks. Which means 1 person has unbreaka,1 has ds and so on. And killers can tunnel in most tourneys that I watched anyway and similar stuff so yeah,please don't talk if you aren't actually reading what I'm saying. Edit: Obv forgot to add,no tourney EVER allows items.

I'd rather take invisibility cause she can't see me either. We are both blind,unless she uses stridor. Even then,you can confuse most spirits at pallets/vaults. You get the hang of their pattern and the way they play. So you can atleast kind of tell what are they gonna do,atleast I can.

I mean you can "balance" the game but it wouldnt be fun for the large majority of the player base since the only way to "balance" dbd would be to make it so that a killer is as strong as a 4 man swf that know what they are doing a killer that's able to consistently go against that will 4k every game that isnt a 4 man swf that knows what they're doing. With swf team six being a large minority it would simply be unfair to anybody who's just playing the game casually

I mean at this point it seems we're purely at a point of preference, cause imo a spirit is someone that even if you mind game perfectly you just have to get lucky and hope they do what you expect, where as doc has clear boundaries and has obvious flaws that are imo easier to exploit then spirit.

Everyone is different man :F I just personally have that opinion. Although I hated spirit alot a long time ago,at like summer of 2019,but then I just got used to her I guess.

First off I'm gonna say that I agree with you and secondly I'm going to bring up how almost all players who think they're big ######### say "you just suck" and bring up skill with any complaint about killers. Skill matters to a certain extent but once you're in the higher survivor ranks skill should not be a justification for certain mechanics or broken bugs etc. Survivor is not difficult for me I am certainly above average and I am around rank 3. The doctor is ridiculous in my opinion and from my experience in games I die to him more often than the other killers. If I had to base the killers and rank them without items/perks Doctor is top 3 for me in terms of brain dead easy to play and stupid to go against. Dead hard btw is not a trash perk it's fun to use and as you can time it right it's great in specific situations. A lot of survivor perks are fairly even and you can take what you want and justify how useful it is as long as you know how to use it but once more when people just blame that you're bad and low skill you can tell what type of player they are.
