Archives VS Mori Storm (8/11 Moris) - LF non-banable derank method
As the title says, i have a week off work now and i'd really want to get into the Archives third tome, but the game feels incredibly unplayable at the moment. Matchmaking queues on EU Rank 1 solo survivor range somewhere between 10-20 minutes to find a lobby, and i get mori'd off first hook in literally 8 / 11 games (>70% ratio), making objectives... rather unfun to try and complete. I'm not even playing toxic, killers are just justifiably tired of survivor BS and key/flashlight 6 second swap-ins. My own killer rank is at 4 and i don't want to touch killer because finishing the grind to rank 1 for the achievement feels horrible.
Do you guys have any legitimate / non-banable strategies to derank yourselves? Because i'm tired of blackpipping getting mori'd one hook, never deranking, waiting another 3-4 times the match time i got to find a new lobby. If i spend 80% of my game time waiting for lobbies, and get mori'd in most games anyway, what's the point?
I don't want to derank to be toxic to / flex on lower rank killers, i simply want my games to last long enough to be able to tick off challenges (or to be able to outplay the killer long enough to make him leave me so i can do said challenges). I know first hand how much it sucks to play vs top rank survivors from my rank 11-8 killer experience where i was consistently given Rank 5-1 SWF teams, i wouldn't do to anyone what they did to me (flashlight go CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK)

There's little point in deranking anymore, rank is increasingly meaningless when it comes to who you're matched with and you might not see much or any difference.

Go into settings and make sure your crossplay option is ticked. I play EU at rank 1 and queues are rarely above 2 minutes for survivor throughout the day. Killer may vary, but from the afternoon on they're very fast.

There is a point, if you want easier Killer Adepts.
But that's basically it.

In that case yeah, I wish I'd deranked before doing plague.

To be entirely frank, if you just aim to get your challenge and nothing else you could do it and still probably depip in the process. Just over commit to it, you will probably still die fast but at least you got the challenge done. The only ones that might be tough are Dwight's, as one requires you to do 2 gens as Dwight in 1 game and another requires you to escape AFTER someone else escapes when you have Bond.
That said, I doubt it will change your experience. I always notice that purple and green rank killers are WAY more toxic when it comes to mori and stuff. Red rank killers are usually just very good is all. Their not purposely trying to be toxic but will do what they gotta do to win. Purple/green rank killers will purposely be super toxic just to spite survivors.
Could also try to find a group and play some SWF together, increase your chances a bit.

Sadly with challenges like "get 2 safe unhooks" it just doesn't work if the killer chases you down first (even if you deliver him a 3 minute chase meal) and then moris you after that first hook - i literally took 4 games to get that challenge done because killers were DETERMINED to hook and mori me first.

On the EU servers it's a lot more enjoyable if you play in the afternoon in my opinion. The survivor queue time isn't high and the killers are usually not really annoying. Same goes for killer, it's a lot more enjoyable to play around that time even though you have to wait a bit from time to time.
In the evening you have pretty high waiting times as survivor and the killers i faced in the last weeks were pretty much far beyond enjoyable (Moris in a zero item lobby/ Tunneling as soon as you touch the ground from nurses and freddys until you are dead/ facecamping). As killer you get a lobby immediately but the survivors are often using some map offerings or trying to annoy you, so i can really recommend you playing in the afternoon.
At least thats my personal experience in the last couple of weeks.

Bond and just hide. Wait for them to find someone else.

Lots of comical killers are using Franklins too, so they can stop those pesky survivors use toolboxes to sabotage hooks and maps to find totems. A right old laugh. I bit some folk aren't half getting cross about that.
