Tips on Not getting stressed out while playing?

I love playing Killer. I love the Challenge of playing Killer. I've played since the beginning. SO usually, most games are a cakewalk. But when I come across a real challenge, I get stressed out (Not usually like, Angry, but just Intense) and then I get super tryhard, which then makes me slightly shakey. This game does a great job at making my heart race. Any tips to avoid that?

IMO Yeah, Killers should always feel almighty, and the survivors can have a slight chance with Numbers and Teamwork.
    Also, thanks Chills. :)

The only time I get annoyed when I play bad is when the survivors gloat about escaping at the end of a game. I had a game as Freddy against a 3 man that brought a map and toolbox. I came in with Ruin, Nurses, MYC, CP, and class photo/z block. The guy with the map was AWFUL and got caught really fast twice. I got hooks on everyone, but when my Ruin was gone and 2 gens were done I went and killed him since he never healed. I just took my time and kept sleeping people, hitting them sometimes, and if I got hooks I would walk away (bc awake or asleep I will find the MYC guy, if I find either of you at the hook I find both of you). But I played nice after I killed the guy, and 2 got out because of it (at least 1 was his friend and took his map with her which is smart).

This dude was so salty about me "tunneling" him and how I held the game hostage by keeping everyone asleep all game. Like, I'm Freddy I put you to sleep. I have Class Photo I find 1 of your I find all of you, and yes I will walk around and put you all to sleep until I get a hit. If you wake up I will come over and put you to sleep again. If you want to do a gen someone has to get chased, and no one wanted to take a chase. And I won't chase you if you don't drop a pallet or run right to a loop. I could have easily killed his team too but I played nice because I don't care to kill every survivor every game. It's survivors like him that make me not want to play nice as killer.

The next 2 games, I kept my add-ons, brought DL/PWYF/Ruin/BW with a pink mori. No one escaped either game, not even close to escaping. Sorry those guys 😢

I have the exact same feeling playing Killer. What I do is remember that even if you doing bad or the survivors you are facing might beat you that you still beat many other survivors before them. Plus there's always a next easy game to look forward to.

I try not to care about how well survivors are doing against me unless their sole purpose is to get up in my face about it by intentionally trying to get my attention to chase them, then proceed to bait me into running into pallet drops and then proceeding to teabagging me. Even then, in the end just remember its a game and doesn't affect your life whatsoever once it ends. If you're mad about it, write them up in a report and that's the end of it, you'll forget who even did this to you in a day or two. Don't be that ######### who takes that anger out of the game and goes to people's profiles to leave salty comments.

Here's how i got to not giving a ######### anymore...

    1. Have faith in devs.
    2. Play game since beta release.
    3. Lose faith.
    4. Gain a bit of faith cause Hex: Devour Hope creates so much fun.
    5. Play the Lunar event.
    6. Lose last bit of faith.
    7. Just. Play. No talking to other players. No bothering. And realize 95% are loopers above rank 15.

Once you accept those last tasks and realize the...well, realization, you're good to go.

Try to remember what you enjoy about this game, if you go into each round thinking how to have fun with what is giving to you it's much more enjoyable.

Then again it also comes down to are you playing competitive or for fun?

I don't think having a little stress is a bad thing.

If you really need something to help you relax, guard the basement with Leatherface (using insidious).
You'll most likely lose but at least you'll get some funny memes out of it.

The fact that this game can piss you off is the very proof it's a great game. Take it seriously, play it mean and hard and ruthless. Camp and tunnel when it's effective. And when the match is over, regardless whether it's a 4K or a 0K remember: it's a game, and not easy for survivors either. Say gg and get on with your life.

    Play Nurse Hillbilly or Hag/Huntress.
Don't take the game all too seriously
run meme builds (like LF insidious basement camp) to calm down.
don't play too many games in a row.

The more frustrated you get, the more terrible you'll play and increase your frustration. Play killer is frustrating, and when I start to get irritated, I'll go watch Twitch or play another game until I am more relaxed.

I end up getting more angry as a Survivor.

At least as killer. I can just take pride in knowing I landed a ton of hits on the team that thinks they're bullying me. DOwned them over and over hooked them up. Killed 1-2 or ALL of them. Yet if the result is they all escape I almost always have a similar score to their top guy.

Its when im a survivor and either my own team screws me over or some random BS happens and I die. I also don't understand what it is but if I use a 75% boost or higher. Its like it somehow increases the odds of me facing the kind of killer who will happen to find me first then be a no shame camper tunneler. Even if it doesn't help him to do that. When 2-4 of those things happen the game will get to me.

I was playing the other day and I have no clue who this guy is but I suspect I took a dump on his SWF group or him at some point. I was going for the Kate Adept unlock. For the first time ever in a match a killer chased me and ONLY me the entire time. Like actually that not an exaggeration. A guy pallet saves me near the end. The killer was so humiliated he messaged me some nonsense like "oh i dont usually play that was I was just farming". Even though farming doesn't make sense why would you focus on one person? I say nothing to him run into him again today. We get the exit gates open this guy has been tunneling me again. He knew it was me because he messaged me before the match. An idiot survivor on my team races me to the switch even though I have a perk that will open the gate faster. He's got NOED and downs her hooks her...I get the gate open then NOED myself right on the finish line and killed. He clearly wanted me and gets me because of a crutch and a stupid survivor. How is a rank 7 survivor opening the gate in front of someone who can do it faster. WHILE being in auto death mode WITH Noed active.

It really says things about the balance. NOED can feel so unbelieably cheap from a survivor perspective. Then at the same time as the killer with the gate open it feels theres nothing you can do.

I turn off the ability for anyone who isn't my friend to message me, to reduce the salt. Then I play all killers, like Tru3Ta1ent suggests, and it works. You become better players, and win with worse killers. It's relaxing. Good luck out there! > @BlazeModz said:
