What map has the most crows?
Anyone ?

Usually the bigger maps have the most crows, which respawn periodically for you to re-disturb.
The biggest map is Mother's Dwelling, but any map from the Cold-wind farms category, Macmillan category, or Auto-Haven category of maps will also work just fine. But if you want a BIG BIG map to do this challenge on, do it on Mother's Dwelling. Small maps will naturally have less crows, so the biggest map should be a good pick.

The crow bombs on the swamp maps are also quite useful if you're trying to do the challenge, because every single crow of the bomb will count.

I'm curious to understand what you mean by "Crow bombs".

There are multiple crows sitting on the big ship on pale rose and on the pantry on grim pantry. If a survivor or a killer gets near the ship or the pantry they will all be disturbed, I think you can hear that over the entire map.
I'm not sure but I think they are gone once the generator on the building is finished.

I can't confirm if that last part is true, I don't remember seeing crows on the ship after a Generator is completed, but my memory isn't the greatest to begin with.
But now I get what you mean by "Crow Bombs", you could technically say both the swamp maps have this, but I think those are the only maps that have something like that. I could be wrong, but no other map comes to mind at the moment.

If the crows on the swamp main buildings all count against the challenge, that would most likely be the best map. The next best map would be Hawkins. If you run Spies on that map, you will see how close they are and how many of them. Not sure about Lery's but I think there are also a lot. On The Game there are definitely almost no crows

I personally don't know if the mass of crows actually count toward the challenge, if they did than that would be too easy upon further examination. I don't know how many crows are on the two main swamp builds for both the swamp maps, but it would most likely take a good chunk out of the challenge if it counted every single crow that's disturbed.
It either counts for every single one of them, or it just counts it as 1 crow. It might not even count it at all, the "obstacle" that the mass of crows makes up is only shown on both the swamp maps... So... who knows.

I'm pretty sure that they count. Someone mentioned it in the forums and I tried it with the 30 (or was it 20?) crow challenge in one of the old tomes and I got it easily in first try on the pale rose and so did my bf. Might be an oversight on the dev's part, because it definitly makes the challenge a lot easier but it works.

Seems like an oversight yeah, if it's not than I don't know... I guess It gives those obstacles some use besides being a passive notification for the Killer, especially since they only exist on the swamp maps.

The best map for this is Haddonfield. Do a few laps around the outskirts and you will be done. Lery's has a deceptively high amount of crows, but most of them are hidden. Hawking's is pretty good as well.
They permanently fly off if that generator is completed or if all generators are completed/blocked for EGC. Thats why I always try getting that one out of the way first to avoid alerting the Killer when someone starts working on that one later in the match.
I have actually seen people say the opposite. That they only count as one crow.

I did the challenge on that map. I can assure you the mass of crows counts for the challenge.

I also get that one out of the way, but I wasn't sure if they were still there because it's not really something I'm paying attention to. Plus my memory is bad, so I probably do that Generator BECAUSE of that exact reason you said.
That's not what PigNRun claims. There seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions here, so there isn't really a way to confirm this without proper evidence. You and sunallanu could've also gotten stray crows while playing normally afterwards, which made you think the crow mass counted towards the challenge in bulk.
Or PigNRun could be wrong too, I don't know. Some solid evidence needs to be thrown here, otherwise the conversation seems to be split.

Well, I did it months ago, but I did it in a single match and was killed pretty early, due to the crows. Anyway as I have the challenge done, I can't say for sure.

Yeah, there's no way to really know for sure until some video proof was brought forward. You also have to realize that some of these players like yourself could've disturbed other crows as well, which gives the illusion that the mass of crows already completed the challenge for you.

Ill give it a try later today. I have that challenge available.

Sounds good, look forward to your discovery. Keep in-mind that if you're trying to do it, than you shouldn't disturb other crows to confirm if the crow mass adds more than 1.

I was wrong. Crow bombs do count as multiple crows. I used Calm Spirit (crow bombs ignore Calm Spirit's effect but works normally with normal crows), used a Swamp offering, stuck to the boat area and set off the crows 3 times (just to make sure). Went from 1/50 to 50/50.
So, yeah, Swamp is the best map for that.

How odd, I wonder if that really is a foresight. Anyways, thanks for confirming this debate.

So I've tried many maps and I think the most crow spots map is Mount Ormond, 2-3 crows per spot, I did a hillbilly run around the map, it feels good to see that many crows.

Lery's has the most crows outside of crow bombs on swamp maps.
If you play any killer that has good builds for Lery's I would do it there. Doing the crow bombs as killer isn't a great idea. First, survivors often set them off first, especially if you are chasing them and they run there. Second, you give away your position a lot more if you are doing crow bombs. As survivor, swamp maps would probably be the best.

Ormond.
