New Chapter Idea, Damned Flames

This is my first chapter idea I've made into reality, covering a new map, a new killer, a new surv and new perks, don't tear into me too hard please

Opening Announcement Line

"Here is the next chapter for Dead By Daylight, experience burning rage and pent up frustration with... Damned Flames"

New Realm and Map, Ashville Woods, Burnt Sanctuary

"The forest outside of the town of Ashville was once a place where the lonely and the forgotten would go when their pent up emotions were too much to take anymore, it used to be home to many animals, some of which would comfort those in need, now it and the surrounding town are remnants of their former selves, snuffed out by the rage of someone who could take the pain of being unloved and cast away no more"

Map Layout

the map would be around the same size and shape of Sanctum of Wrath, however having a much brighter colour scheme, the centre structure is a stone ruin with 3 pallets and 2 windows, they are the strongest pallets and windows on the map but are around the same strength as the current Coal Tower centre building loop, it would also have a unique form of exit gate where instead of opening a door like normal with a switch the survivors instead do a series of animations that light 3 candles, that then burn away a wall of ivy (purely visual, the door opening sequence would work the same as normal gameplay wise)

New Killer, The Dragon

"A lonely teenager desperate to find attention, Darren Nash lost his family in a terrible road accident, after being passed around from home to home, never being able to make a connection with any of his foster parents, he packed his things and left, ending up in the town of Ashville, he enrolled into the local University, worked at a Blacksmith shop, even forging his own weapons and going into the woods to practice with them, but try as he might, no one noticed or cared about him, as a result, he began to lash out, setting fire to buildings in hopes that he'll be blamed for them, however, after taking it one step too far and burning down a local thug's business venture, they gave Darren a taste of his own medicine, burning him in the coals of his furnace, and leaving him in the woods to die, remarking that no one would care to look for his body, as it happened those thugs were right. But rather then take it lying down, Darren contemplated a lot of things, his desire for attention and love, his inability to be noticed, and a burning desire for revenge on those whom he believed caused his life to end up like this, the following day the woods surrounding Ashville caught fire, burning the woods and the town to nothing but fine ash, when firefighters finished putting out the flames, they thought they could see a person walking away and into the woods, all they found was a cloud of darkness, ironically, Darren got what he wanted, as his name was permanently written into the history books with blood and ash"

Design

"A darkened ash-covered trench coat, a hood that covered the face, and hiking boots make up the Dragon's primary outfit, 2 wings can be found on his back that unfurl during certain animations, his weapon is a sword that he made during his blacksmithing days, remodelled to resemble what he became well known for and stained with fine speckles of blood"

Attributes

115% Movement Speed

32m Terror radius

Normal lunge range and Vaulting speed

Power, Rage of the Inferno

The entity has given the Dragon more control over the fire that he wields, by pressing LCTRL or your associated power button you will enter Inferno Rage with a 15 second duration at default, you burn away pallets upon coming into contact with them (i.e, just walking into them, no pressing Spacebar required), if you are stunned by a pallet you will recover 30% faster (does not stack with Enduring) and instantly destroy it, you will vault windows faster and then destroy them for around 60 seconds, you also move 10% faster, hitting a survivor while in Inferno Rage will injure them and inflict Burned, this acts similarly to deep wound however more dangerous, if the survivor does not put out the fire fast enough they will enter the dying state, there are 2 ways of putting out the fire, either running around for 10 seconds outside of a chase or performing a M1 action called "Stop Drop and Roll" which will take the same time as Snapping Out if It and has similar skill checks, if the survivor puts out the flames by running they will suffer a 30 second 20% penalty to generator repair, healing, sabotaging hooks, cleansing totems, and opening chests, they will also move 5% slower

It should be noted that Inferno Rage's M1 action has a increased lunge (about the same as Legion's Frenzy lunge) and missing or hitting it will immediately deactivate the power, inflicting a penalty to the killer of about 3 seconds if you miss, you can also cancel it of your own violation, once deactivated Inferno Rage will enter a cooldown period of 60 seconds at default

The second part is Heatshot, a simple projectile that works about the same as Huntress' Hatchets, Heatshot can be used by pressing M2 or associated key while not in Inferno Rage, holding down M2 causes it to go faster, Heatshot has a max range of 32 metres, any survivor hit by Heatshot will be injured and suffer from Burned, Heatshot also breaks pallets it hits and causes generators to become Heated for 30 seconds, survivors that come into contact with Heated gens will suffer from Burned, but won't be injured, instead becoming injured if they don't put themselves out. Heatshot has a cooldown of 10 seconds.

Animations

Main Menu, The Dragon will face the survivor campfire intently, sword drawn and waiting

Lobby Screen, The Dragon will stand in a relaxed stance, occasionally either entering a combative stance, wings unfurled, or else sharpening his weapon with a stone in one of his pockets

Walking: The Dragon will walk like a normal human being, sword held in a relaxed position, however this will raise to a more combative stance once in a chase

Swinging, The Dragon will pull back his sword while raising his other arm, he will then lunge forward, bringing the sword down hard while grunting, the missed and hit a object animations are the same as other killers

Hit, The Dragon will raise his weapon to his face before spinning it in his hands and chuckling with happiness, much like Clown's knife, but cooler

Stunned, The Dragon will fall for a moment, before rising and letting out a inhuman roar, his wings will unfurl when he roars

Breaking, The Dragon will kick the pallet or gen once and finish with a overhead slash

Carrying, same as other killers

Hooking, same as other killers

Mori (my personal favourite), The Dragon will watch the survivor stand up in front of him, looking at their face for a moment, before releasing a flurry of slashes, finishing with a flameclad punch through the stomach while laughing hysterically, the survivor screaming in pain all the way through.

Inferno Rage enter, the Dragon will roar and his sword will disappear, his fists clad in fire and his wings are unfurled for the duration, animations are the same as normal

Inferno Rage attack, The Dragon will pull back a fist over his head, if it connects the Dragon will roar as the flames dissipate and his sword returns, if he misses he briefly punches the ground

Heatshot charge, The Dragon opens his left fist as a ball of fire slowly grows, you will hear a audio cue once it has reached max charge

Heathshot release, The Dragon will pull back his left hand and throw it forwards, launching the fireball

  1. Heated Presence, your presence causes the very air to heat up around you, all survivors within your terror radius suffer a penalty to gen repair and healing, 5% for level 1, 10 % for level 2 and 15% for level 3 "I've been through hell and back, and you know how many people cared? none" Darren Nash
  2. Hex: Draconic Hunt, causes a dull totem to become a hex totem, while the hex totem remains active, all survivors will find their exhaustion taking longer, an additional 20 seconds for level 1, 25 for level 2 and 30 for level 3, when the hex totem is destroyed, survivors will become exhausted and move slower for a length of time, 10 seconds for level 1, 15 for level 2 and 20 for level 3 "The Dragon is my spirit animal, and I've learned exactly how to hunt like them" Darren Nash
  3. New Survivor, Charlotte Seale

"Charlotte was flexible in both the figurative and literal sense, winning a local gymnastics tournament at 13 years old, she became well known across the country for her incredible feats, always having room in her busy schedule for one competition or another, that was until she had a lapse of concentration, leading to several broken bones and a fractured rib, as she lay in the hospital, she was enveloped in a dark smoke, when she awoke, she found her bones healed, ending up in a unfamiliar place, with people that her talents may help"

Design

"A tight fitting white shirt covered with a dark red jacket, a pair of blue jeans and white sneakers make up Charlotte's preferred ensemble while not in her gymnast uniform"

Perks

  1. Dodge Roll, while sprinting, pressing the E key will cause you to roll forwards and avoid a killer's attack, you will then become exhausted for 60 seconds with level 1, 50 for level 2 and 40 seconds for level 3, Dodge Roll cannot be used while injured
  2. Calming presence, your presence causes other survivors to relax, while within the perks radius, all survivors breathe and move around quieter, this perk has a range of 16 metres at level 1, 24 metres at level 2 and 32 metres at level 3
  3. Flexibility, you vault windows and drop pallets 5% faster at level 1, 10% at level 2 and 15% at level 3
