Unexperienced survivors on this forum ruined the game for us.
who the heck complains about camping and tunneling in dbd 2020?? You only complain about it when you get downed in 5 seconds buying no time for your teammates to do gens. Simply get better at the game and don’t complain to devs to ruin the game even more to veteran player.

A lot of people don’t like getting Camped/Tunnelled. Getting removed from the game early and not being able to recover is not fun.
There are times where it’s fine to do, but it pretty much ruins the match for some players.

Welcome to the forums where you'll hear crys of supposed killer/survivor mains where they complain about their internal troubles that they have and couldn't git gud. Were no one will take anythimg seriously but it fun to see what some people come up with and have a chuckle until it blows up or get shamed if you want attention just place how is this fair or rework this perk/killer and swarms of people will flood the discussion and posting. Unless you talk about something logical that make scene and nobody cares for that because they all came hear to express of their "expert knowledge" and how they are right and everybody's wrong unless they agree with their opinions which I like to call factions.

If you understand the game, then you know DS is the most powerful perk.
On topic, yes: new killers and survivors complain more than they play.

Camping and Tunneling complaints have been active on the forums for years.
I'm not defending it, but it's scummy and it feels awful when it happens to you.

Huh, most people hate camping and tunneling, because it has nothing to do with whether you're good at the game or not. There is no "skill" that allows you to avoid it. And there is no skill necessary to do it. Killers are designed to catch people. Survivors are designed to get caught. Ignoring how toxic it is to camp/tunnel someone out of the game immediately, tanking their points, pips/rank, and sending them back to the lobby without getting to play the match they waited to get into, is a huge mistake. And something people have a right to be pissed about.

The new and inexperienced players feedback is a completely valid point of view from both sides.
This feedback is needed so veterans are not the only ones left in the game.
This is why the matchmaking is and needs worked on so it will hopefully pit players against those of more equal abilities so all of the player base has an overall better experience.

Survivors when killers hook rush: You're toxic, lol, delete the game, you don't deserve to live, etc
How dare you try to complete your objective faster, killer? Shame on you. Only survivors are entitled to do that

This game isn't "ruined". With the recent map changes the game should be at it's most balanced yet. Only key and mori changes are needed.
Inexperience is a big problem on BOTH sides however. When these people go complaining about something and not trying to see the bigger picture it causes toxicity in the community.

Thing is spreading stupidity would be a crime in a better soceity. Posting on forums like this should be only allowed to experienced players who’s able to form meaningfull statements rather than using the forums for whining and talking sh_t with their 40 hours of playing survivor.

But also the same can be said about all these sub par killers lurking around here - still not beening able to 4K every single match after that patch. They keep complaining no matter what, its totally ridiculous.

If you actually cared to look at my posts you would see that is far from the truth. I reguraly call them out on things I disagree with and give my opinion. How you saw myself as being a yes man from what I wrote here is beyond me.
They tweak stuff over the whole userbase not just new players. They wrongly mentioned new players once when they were about to change ruin and the problem is people jumped on that one instance. Think for yourself about ALL the changes made and think if they really are made for the benefit only new players and not the whole userbase.

Maybe everyone deserves to have fun playing a video game, especially one that they paid for. Even new players.
Making it too hard on them will frustrate them into quitting, and we need more players. People leave all the time.

As long as people continue to think 'tunneling' is downing someone and 'camping' is putting them on a hook, then yeah.
I try really hard to play nice even against survivors that don't extend me the same courtesy. I don't think I've eaten an actual deserved DS in half a year. I honestly don't remember why I play nice sometimes. At this point, if the survivors lose, you tunnelled them and facecamped their grandma. Let's all ignore the fact that you got 12 hooks.
I really do see it as comparable to the 'clearly a swf, that's why you won' thing.

This game is as balanced as it has been since I started playing a year ago. I don't feel hopeless playing either side even when seeing the strongest of killers or very probable SWF. So is that sense it is not ruined. However I also agree being that first one to be downed and camped stinks, I just hope the rest of my team takes advantage of it and escapes easily.

That was the issue as they also stated that veterans had no real trouble with ruin as they could hit the skill checks.
You then had a perk which then punished newer or less skilled players and did nothing for the best ones which seems counter productive don't you think? since those players aren't actually an issue in the first place.
It was also stated it was done so they could get numbers to tweak other things which you can see has been happening.
Like anything players on both sides take any change that affects the side they play and run with one reason it was changed and disregard the rest. Yes they were wrong to only post the change wording it as new players as i said when it was first done without stating the rest as that set this precedence with some, but when they talked about it more and expanded on more reasons which make sense then we shouldn't keep running with that one aspect of the post.

Veteran survivors do not hit great skill checks ALL of the time.. so the reason why people used old ruin because it granted granted 0% progress on great skill checks. Veteran survivors do miss great skill checks but not CONSTANTLY.
for example, I can do 3 great skill checks in a row but 4th skill checks occasionally ends up being not great.

Killer finding you, hitting you twice has blood wipe animation or 1 shot animation, travel time to hook. Congratulations 1/4 to 1/3 of a gen has been completed on any of 1 to 3 gens. Even bad teammates have a use. Remember a bad teammate can still do gens even if they can't loop well.
Now Killer camps for the near full duration of 2 states which is 2 minutes. Congratulations you brought an additional 2 to 3 gens. Provided you have good teammates you can have between 3 to 5 gens done before you die. If your lucky a teammate will do a last second switch with you. Now the killer has proceeded to do nothing all game.
Killer tunnels assuming the rescuers had BT you can get away easily by taking that last second hit or use DS if they don't. After that the killer will probably continue to chase hopefully you brought DH to make it to the loop. Always DS first than DH. If the killer picked up the rescuer your also scott free.
Either way tunneling and camping is so ineffective against survivors who play for more then a week. Yet I see red rank survivors lose because of how bad they act. Shows you how brain dead easy survivor pipping is and why most people think survivors who brag about rank are typically bad.

Many times a camper is just a ... player without experience. Easy to do 3 gen if a Killer do Face Camping.
Personally i dont judge, a player playing Killer can do whatever he wants (there are no rules saying you cannot camp) but they camp usually first 10-20h ^..^ (unless their skill is very very low)
If a camper is glad to do -1 every game, ggwp, it means he's happy for... nothing
Personally i never use mori, neither noed and i neither camp 95% times, you dont need it.

Probably your statement is what ruin this forum and this game for everyone. Everyone can discuss in a forum and saying his opinion but he must follow classical TOS. You are not superior or inferior to anyone who bought this game like you. If you think to be superior remember it's a game and you are not better than a player with 10h. That's why I also said the best in my second paragraph. I never said anyone hit 100% of them but just watch the likes of Zubat when old ruin was in play who is a really good player. He used to rarely miss great skill checks and there are a few others which were the same so its not a false narrative as I've personally seen it.
It's not something anyone can test themselves as you never truly know who you are versing, how good they are or if they are actually playing to the best of their ability at that time. You are looking at a small amount of personal games with others compared to tens of millions of games overall.
It's one of the issues with DBD as each players use theirs or a friends experience as the reason why something works or doesnt or if it's UP or OP and when some have no issues and speak up they are either called a main for the other side or have to be lying according to some. It's a very strange mentality to say the least.

Well, everyone knows that camping and tunneling are bad, imagine if every killer in the game camped and tunneled, survivors would be obligated to use DS and BT in every match and even with this the killer is still able to go and kill you. So every match you would just hope to don't get find first, but it is just a matter of luck at this point.

What the hell are you even talking about??? Have you ever played survivor even once? Only trash killers need to tunnel and camp. And yes it happens plenty at red ranks, my last match was a rank 2 deathslinger proxy camping from his first hook forward. Its a crutch for ######### players.

I was thinking more like if survivors complain about a killer slugging. Or if a killer complains about gen rushing.
Killers telling survivors to "just do bones" is their way of defending noed. As survivor I blame myself if the killer gets use out of noed but I can see why it feels like a cheap kill for the killer. Personally I feel like there should be a totem counter to help solo players against this.
Ds is a tricker one to talk about. Slugging isn't a proper counter to ds. There are times where it can be but not every ds can be countered by slugging.

Survivors can't win unless they do gens, Killers can win without tunnelling.
