(If you are going to read any part of this huge tangent, PLEASE read the first couple sentences, I try to get to my point fast there)

If you see a good survivor, please don't hesitate to message them that they played really well, it feels really good I can tell you that. If you see a killer that was a rank 13 in a rank 1 survivor game, reassure them that no, the DON'T suck, and to keep trying to be better. Make other players feel good and want to keep playing, I promise it will do a world of good for our feelings when playing this game. Share love with your teammates, you don't know when the next time they'll get it is. I just wanted to say my opinion on some things I notice. Often times, people have an "Us vs Them" mentality when it comes to this game. "Killer Mains vs Survivor Mains" is something you see a lot of, in the game and in the forums, but why does it have to be this way? Why cant we all just be "Dead by Daylight Players." It's okay to have a preference to a side but we need to stop this mentality if we wish for this game to prosper. This game has a charm to it like no other, what other game is like this? Exactly, none. This brings me to my second point where I feel also needs attention, which is mass shaming of the game devs. With creating a game that has no other games like this, the devs are going to make mistakes because they have no other game to look at for reference on and learn from their mistakes instead of their own. The biggest flaw with this game in my opinion isn't even in the game, It's the entitlement you can find among some players. If you as me, the devs really are doing a pretty good job so far.

I'm no game dev myself but I can only imagine how difficult balance is to achieve in this game. Take this into consideration, You have 4 survivors, each one running 4 game altering perks, along with being able to bring an item, each with its own group of addons. Then you have those 4 different people against 1 killer. This killer has 4 perks of its own, and a unique power that cant be to powerful OR be to overpowered with one of the MANY perks of the game. A new set of perks, killer, and map sometimes are added every 3 months, and these perks, killers, and addons must be fair on every set of the hundreds of combinations of perks that can be run. I haven't even gotten to the difficulty I imagine the map design is, and i'm barely breaking the surface of of the challenges a 4v1 game receives. Us players of the game can hardly fathom how difficult this game is to balance, and I have to say, with all these challenges the devs must face, this game is at its MOST BALANCED AND HEALTHIEST YET. Yes I said it. Stop shaming the devs, if you see a problem, report it, don't go "The devs don't care" this and "They cater to this side more" that. Especially with COVID going on in the world right now, we could ALL use a little love. Please share it with your teammates.
