Temporary fix that you will probably have to do every time, but it works for me:

    1. Right click on DBD in Steam -> Properties -> Local files -> Browse local files
    2. Go into the EasyAntiCheat folder, then the Certificates folder
    3. Copy the files inside Certificates (should be game.bin and game.cer) and put it somewhere safe, we'll need it later
    4. Remove the files in Certificates
    5. Launch the game normally, proceed with the loading
    6. It will give you an error and force you to shut down the game. Don't be scared, it's a part of the process.
    7. Put the backed up files back into the Certificates folder
    8. Launch the game normally again
    9. It should work now, enjoy
    10. If it doesn't work, go back to step 4 then turn off your antivirus. You can turn it back on when you want to use other programs that can access the internet.

I don't have antivirus and it doesn't work. What do I do then?
