Idea for phase two on hook
I think we all hate spamming a single button over and over, breaking the button.
Instead of this, I think a good replacement would be that a button would appear in which you'd have to react to.
For example, you go into stage 2, and RT appears (I'm an Xbox player) you'll get about a second to react, then you'll get another button, with the time to react slightly decreasing. This would continue on up until you failed, or you reached phase 3 over time.

This could be even a little replacement for skill checks. Sometimes its a skill check, sometimes it's this. (it would appear with a diffrent sound perhaps?)

That could also work, would be more than happy to change it up a bit.

so instead of pressing one button and living you want to have to press any button and die more often? do you think the survivors who get these check correctly gain anything? and for pc players it will appear as any key? i dont get the point of this.

Ok, rather then constantly pressing one button consecutively over a short period of time, you have a variety of buttons which you'll have to press one at a time at random.
Basically so people don't break their keyboards/controllers.

This would lead to accidental suicides, which wouldn't be healthy for the game. Not that there aren't any accidental suicided with the current mechanic, but anyone with more than a 100h knows to re-bind struggle to mouse down or uses a macro. It would be better to simply make struggle automatic and suicide on-demand, without adding any other interference.
