Let's all be happy and nice :) smh toxic gamers.

Title is a little cheesey, but you know...

I've been playing DbD for a while now and I don't get the point with toxicity and us vs them point of view. I play both sides and try to be nice whenever I am. Happen to find someone that I just hooked? Slug them instead of tunneling(loose term). About to run out of the exit gate? Let the killer get a free hit. I've dominated this match and I'm about to get the 4K? Let the last survivor go, I'm already gonna single pip at least. It makes me feel better to get a thank you in post game than a 4K most of the time. Maybe just me?

I understand getting thrown against toxic players is annoying and not great at all, but flashlight-Tbag spamming or an Ebony Mori next game isn't gonna make all things in the world right.

I really do get that you can't always win with toxic players. You don't have to go easy on the ######### heads ;).

PS, for the people who may or may not say they don't care about pipping, so no mercy is a must. It's a nice gesture to let the last person go. It'll make someone feel a bit better about the game at least. You don't have to, but you should if you can spare the few BPs. Same thing goes with most of what I've said (not the BP part).

Your words may stir and individual but won't move the crowd.

    But perhaps that is enough

I will usually let the last person go if everyone who played that game was playing fair and didn't do anything to hinder their team or attempt to annoy me as a killer.

While it would be nice to be happy and nice to your fellow players, sometimes it's just not in the cards. Some people just want to be toxic, and you have to teach them what it feels like to lose badly.

By toxic I mean doing stuff that actively annoy the Killer, actively sandbagging their teammates.

Flashlight clicking isn't toxic, teabagging to get the killer's attention isn't toxic.

Teabagging after a pallet drop and teabagging at the exit gate is, however, in my books.

As long as the intent is to PLAY THE GAME, then it's not toxic.

    Gotta hope ;)

Definitely! I don't mean to say to go out of your way and throw a game to be 'nice'. Even stuff like bringing in Survivor Pudding. The bonus BPs to you can totally outweigh being a pal and letting someone go.
